Kuchary Żydowskie 56A, Sochocin, Voivodeship mazowieckie, Poland

What do I have in common with Leonardo Di Caprio? We are both actors and have our corner of the world. The difference is that Leonardo has made himself comfortable on a private island in the Caribbean Sea, while I have found paradise in Kuchary Żydowskie, in Mazovia. Leo probably wouldn't even look at my more than 100-year-old cottage, but I like old things. That's why I meticulously renovated step by step, looking for old floors, refinishing, hanging hammocks wherever I could. It couldn't be more different, the walls are decorated with paintings by my dad - Tadeusz Kuduk, and when we are expecting children in every corner lie toys, books, puzzles, games, teddy bears, etc. This is, after all, a truly family home. I bought the habitat together with my friend Tomila, who is a photographer so the artistic profile of our place was inevitable. I took care of the house, she took care of La Obora. An artistic space for workshops, chilling and parties. In the summer, great events can be held here, or you can just lie in a hammock and snack on currants in three colors, apples, grapes and pears. Yes, you can lie down. Even the parents. Because the kids magically take care of themselves here. In the evening you just have to wash them properly, read two pages of stories and you can already jump on the terrace. And there the stars, compote of organic fruit from the orchard, the smell of the forest and the relaxing chirping of crickets:) First floor: Here there is a large fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, a bedroom with a large bed, a living room with a table and a sofa bed and a room with two single beds. Attic: This is an approximately 70 square meter space with a spacious toilet and a large window overlooking a clearing and forest. There are two double comfortable mattresses and one single mattress. We also have the possibility of adding cribs both in the attic and on the first floor. Depending on the number and demand of guests we adjust the house to make it as comfortable as possible. And now for the specifics: - to the river Wkra with a swimming area is only 2 minutes by car, - to the nearest store 5 min by car, - alpacas 5 min from the house by car, - canoe rentals and canoeing on the river Wkra in the village, - if there are no consecutive guests check-in and check-out times to be determined. Additional fees (payable on site): - pLN 150 one-time cleaning, - 100 PLN/day for pellets for the stove, - 100 PLN one-time fee for a pet.

A lovely place with soul in an old wooden house. Very close from Warsaw, and one is transported to another world, full of fields, forests and the meandering Wkra River with great infrastructure for kayakers. In the forest behind the house you can meet deer (only you need to be quiet). Plus a lot of hammocks in the garden, so that there is enough for everyone and the hostess, who can be a model of hospitality. Recommended :)

Very pleasant cottage, beautifully decorated inside. I rented during the winter, but the underfloor heating and modern stove made it easy to run around in socks :) Ms. Dorota is very friendly and helpful. Really a super experience and I hope to return there again at some opportunity!

I am a wife, mother of two children, actress, psychologist and habitat owner. My husband and I work at the STU Theater in Krakow, so the whole family shuttles between Warsaw and Krakow. For the time being, the kids don't grow up behind the curtain, because the show would probably be interrupted by constant screams from backstage: mom! However, it is not unlikely that they will have ties to art, as it surrounds them from all sides. Their grandfather is a painter, and their grandmother is a figure skating coach. Blissful Village was created out of love for silence and nature, and a great need to create an idyllic place for my family, loved ones and you.
