Located in a protected forest area and surrounded by pines, oaks, and junipers, you will find the Masía de los Toranes - Starlight destination. Access is via a 3 km forest track of great scenic beauty and is situated just 10 minutes from Rubielos de Mora, which is included in the network of the most beautiful villages in Spain. The Masía is ideal for disconnecting under one of the best starry skies in Spain. It is divided into independent little houses in the forest integrated into the same building. Three of them have a capacity of 6 each, distributed in two double rooms, equipped kitchen, but without a microwave as our electricity supply is through solar panels, dining room with sofa bed, and bathroom. A fourth smaller house has two double rooms, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and terrace. The last house has three double rooms. Ideal for enjoying with family (children and pets) or friends in pure nature and an exceptional landscape, it is common to encounter a roe deer, mountain goat, or wild boars during your stay while taking advantage of one of the numerous trails that connect the masía with Rubielos de Mora or Fuentes de Rubielos. It also has a bathing area at the Embalse de las Balagueras, just 10 minutes from the Masía, a place of great scenic richness that allows for the observation of vultures and mountain goats. You can also enjoy swimming in the Mijares River, which has numerous pools, as well as trails parallel to the river that allow you to cool off when the heat is on. On the other hand, climbing enthusiasts can enjoy the surroundings of Olba, as this paradise has hundreds of routes that adapt to everyone's skills. If you are a cycling enthusiast, the location of the masía is perfect for routes in all its modalities (road, MTB, and enduro) taking advantage of the circular routes. Thanks to its clear skies and unobstructed horizons without light pollution, the location of the house is also perfect for astrotourism activities and astrophotography workshops. In addition, we have a dining room ideal for groups with a capacity of 16-18, which includes a kitchen, as well as an outdoor barbecue area. Finally, we take care of the surrounding environment with sustainable practices, which is why in the rehabilitation of the masía we use bioconstruction criteria (we use natural cork panels as thermal insulation, ecological paints and waterproofing for the roofs, as well as having an ecological treatment plant and receiving electricity supply through solar panels, and for all this, we received in 2011 the first prize for Business Recognition for Sustainable Development from the Gúdar Javalambre Region) and we maintain a real commitment to the local community, betting on respectful tourism that values nature and supports rural development.
