Description
Located in a protected forest area and surrounded by pines, oaks and junipers is the Masía de los Toranes-Starlight destination. Its access is through a forest track of 3 km of great scenic beauty and is located just 10 min. from Rubielos de Mora, which is included in the network of the most beautiful villages in Spain. The farmhouse is divided into independent forest cottages integrated in the same building. Three of the cottages have a capacity for 6 people each, distributed in two double rooms, equipped kitchen, but without microwave as our electricity supply is through solar panels, dining room with sofa bed and bathroom. A fourth smaller cottage has two double rooms, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and terrace. The last casita has three double rooms. Ideal for families (children and pets) or with friends to enjoy nature in its purest form and an exceptional landscape, which is why it is common to come across a roe deer, ibex or wild boar during the stay taking advantage of one of the many trails that connect the farmhouse with Rubielos de Mora or Fuentes de Rubielos. It also has a bathing area in the Balagueras Reservoir, just 10 minutes from the farmhouse, a place of great scenic wealth that allows the observation of vultures and ibex. You can also enjoy bathing in the Mijares river, where there are numerous pools, as well as paths parallel to the river that allow you to cool off when the heat is hot. On the other hand, in the surroundings of Olba can enjoy climbing lovers, since this paradise has hundreds of routes that adapt to the skills of each one. If you love cycling, the location of the farmhouse is perfect for routes in all its forms (road, mountain bike and enduro) taking advantage of the circular routes. Thanks to its clean skies and clear horizons without light pollution, the location of the house is also perfect for astro-tourism activities and astrophotography workshops. We also have a classroom-dining room ideal for groups with a capacity of 16-18 people, which has a kitchen, oven and wood stove as well as an outdoor barbecue area. Finally we take care of the environment that surrounds us with sustainable practices is why in the rehabilitation of the farmhouse we use bio-construction criteria (therefore we use natural cork panels as thermal insulation, paints and waterproofing of ecological roofs, in addition to having an ecological sewage treatment plant and receiving electricity supply through solar panels and for all this we received in 2011 the first prize for Business Recognition of Sustainable Development of the Gúdar Javalambre Region) in addition to maintaining a real commitment to the local community, we are committed to respectful tourism, which values nature and supports rural development. Your stay contributes directly to preserve this landscape.
