Description
In the heart of Gran Canaria, an ideal place to explore the whole island. Situated in the western mountains, this location offers more pleasant temperatures compared to the northern and eastern regions of the island. This accommodation, more than 250 years old, has been carefully restored to combine its historical essence with modern comforts. Located in a quiet and peaceful rural setting, the house is part of the Nublo Rural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve and recognized in July 2019 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The property is located in the charming municipality of Tejeda, included in the list of the 30 most beautiful villages in Spain. It is a traditional Canarian country house, built in stone and with wooden floors. It has been restored respecting the original structure and materials of its construction, integrating restored furniture and adding modern appliances to ensure a comfortable stay. The two patios offer a perfect space to enjoy starry nights, barbecues, relax in the sun or let the children play freely. Casa Rural Pepita la de las Flores is a historical symbol in the municipality of Tejeda, being the first rural house in the area. It also has an interesting history: it was the first store in the village, founded when Juan, Pepita's husband, returned from Cuba with some money that allowed them to start this small business.
