This is the farmhouse that my great-great-grandfather built upon his return to the Basque Country after his extraordinary journey to Cuba. He built it using wood brought back from the island on land that has belonged to my family for generations, creating a home steeped in history, character, and tradition. The house is situated in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by mountains, forests, and meadows. Amid fruit trees, orchards, and trails, it offers the tranquility and beauty of the Basque landscape in its most authentic form. It is a place where time seems to pass more slowly, inviting you to rest, take walks in the fresh air, and connect with nature. Despite its rural atmosphere and absolute privacy, the location is unbeatable. Bilbao is just 15 minutes away, San Sebastián an hour, and Biarritz a little over an hour and twenty minutes. A unique combination that allows you to enjoy both the peace of the countryside and the cultural, gastronomic, and tourist riches of the Basque Country and the Basque-French coast. A special place where history, nature, and comfort come together to offer an authentic and unforgettable experience.
