Description
Artiñano Etxea, is known by the older people of the village as "the palace". Its architectural characteristics and its bourgeois-industrial past give it its name, although now this farmhouse has become a very special rustic accommodation in the Orozko valley, at the foot of the Gorbea Natural Park. Artiñano Etxea has 7 double rooms, spacious living rooms with a large window, full kitchen and some curiosities such as a library or a chapel. All this surrounded by a garden of tall trees designed in 1914 by an English landscape designer, with access to a private pool, which makes the place a very intimate and pleasant space. Our family is a couple who live on the third floor of the property with our daughter and son, although the only thing shared with guests is the interior staircase leading to our apartment and we are very discreet. The idea is to make you feel at home. A ten minute walk separates Artiñano Etxea from Zubiaur, the center of Orozko, where you can go out for a drink, eat pintxos, take walks, visit the Museum... For those who prefer the mountains, you will have a wide range of possible routes; from the ascent to the mythical Gorbea Cross or the eye of Atxulaur to other less known trails such as the route of the Kikirinauxis or the Supelaur cave.
