The vacation home is located in the Allgäu in the historic village center of Rieden am Forggensee. It is divided into two vacation apartments, Chalet Lara and Chalet Louise. Chalet Louise is the one with fireplace. It is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain landscape, which can be admired from the loggias. The house is modern and equipped to a high standard and also impresses with its sustainable wooden construction. The chalets have been consistently designed with local spruce, which can be found on the walls and in the designed furniture. The architecture elegantly blends into the small village and brings a piece of nature indoors. Tradition and modernity form an ascetic unity inviting to contemplation. The tranquility of the Allgäu and the balanced architecture are the ingredients for a quick deceleration. The hut is located at 814 meters above sea level, in the old village center of Rieden am Forggensee with a view of the mountains. Nature starts right outside the door and can already be experienced at breakfast through the window. It is not uncommon to see birds of prey like the kite, but also deer at dusk. Directly from the house you can hike or bike. The idyllic Forggensee can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. . The beautiful town of Füssen can be reached quickly by bus or bike. Rieden offers about 20 km of perfectly groomed trails for skating or classic cross-country skiing. In the immediate vicinity are the ski station Tegelberg, Alpspitz Nesselwang, ski center Pfronten. All year round you can visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle and the Museum of the Bavarian Kings and in case of rain the Royal Crystal Spa in the Kurpark in Schwangau provides relaxation. Hiking, skiing and cycling are possible in the surroundings, and Chalets Lara & Louise offer ski storage. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is 31 km from the accommodation, while Oberstdorf is 40 km away. The nearest airport is Memmingen Airport, 54 km from Chalets Lara & Louise.
