Charszówka is a cozy single-story cottage located on the edge of the forest. The fenced plot of over 2500m2, covered with trees, provides privacy, silence, and tranquility. The cottage has been finished with attention to every, even the smallest detail, so that our Guests can enjoy their stay 100%. Numerous glazing allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature, while the warm interior relaxes and soothes. On-site, guests can enjoy a sauna with a view of the spruces, as well as a fire pit and a table for feasting. Charszówka is a place where you can relax reading a book by the fireplace or spend active time cycling or paddleboarding. We have made sure that everyone finds something for themselves - for the youngest guests, there is a playground and board games, and for four-legged friends, beautiful meadows and forests, as well as a large terrace. Charszówka is the perfect place for romantic stays for two, unforgettable family time, or gatherings with friends. The wonderful space and proximity to nature are what kids love the most. The green area around the house can be explored to their heart's content, making it an unforgettable place for summer fun that will stay in their memory for a long time. Here, they can let off steam, splashing in the lake all day and warming up under the care of their parents in the sauna. There are plenty of places to run, jump, and bike, as well as long walks and nature observation, and there is enough space for everyone to relax! We recommend organizing a family picnic "under the clouds," spreading a blanket on the pier overlooking the lake and enjoying local delicacies. A modern and varied playground with mini climbing, SUP on the water, and board games for shared evenings. We recommend lighting a bonfire or grill and having a family feast among the trees. Playing hide and seek among the trees is a favorite game of our little guests! The area around the cottage provides everything to calm down and relax in the beautiful nature. We recommend local attractions: horseback riding, gingerbread museum in Toruń, a lake with a private pier, Sitnica center with a guarded swimming area, beach, and numerous attractions like pedal boats or mushroom picking to detach kids from electronics. We have prepared our home so that you can spend time there full of relaxation and have all amenities on site. In fact, you can fully unwind without stepping outside the property. For those who, besides blissful rest in the comfort of the house, would like to explore local attractions, we particularly recommend: Sitnica Center, Płonko Stable, Gingerbread Museum in Toruń, Golub-Dobrzyń Castle, Mazovian Village Museum, Astrobaza in Rypin. Before you book - a few words about Charszówka 🌲 We care deeply that every Guest knows exactly what to expect. Charszówka is a place created by us out of love for nature, which is why we want to tell you about it honestly. No additional fees 🪵 The price of the stay includes all available attractions and amenities on site: * sauna with a view of the forest, * wood for the fireplace, bonfire, and sauna, * bicycles, * SUP, * board games, * playground, * fire pit and grill. We do not charge additional fees for using the sauna or wood. 🏡 Privacy There is only one cottage on the property designated for Guests. Over 2500 m² of fenced, wooded area provides plenty of privacy and freedom. The plot borders the forest, and there are numerous trees and plantings on its premises. At the same time, Charszówka is not a cottage located alone in the middle of a wild forest. There are several other holiday cottages in the vicinity, so sometimes you might meet a neighbor on the sandy road. Stay with a dog 🐾 We are very happy to welcome four-legged friends. The fee for a dog's stay is 100 PLN for the entire stay. This is not a fee we want to profit from. We allocate it primarily for additional cleaning after the stay and compensation for our cleaning lady. We want our dog guests to feel as welcome as their guardians, which is why there are bowls, a blanket, a toy, and a small surprise waiting for them on site. Thanks to the large, fenced plot, dogs can freely enjoy the area and safely run around the property. However, please keep in mind that in the vicinity, near one of the nearby roads, there is a small farm where other dogs reside. This usually does not pose any problem, but it is worth knowing. 🌊 Lake and pier A few minutes' walk (350 m) separates the cottage from the lake with a private pier, where you can relax, swim, fish, or go out on a SUP. It is accessed by a forest path, and there is a private pier by the water available to several owners of nearby cottages. This means that it is not a public beach full of people, but at the same time, you may encounter other vacationers there. 🌿 Our forest descent to the lake We created the descent to the lake ourselves and regularly maintain it. We clear the path, maintain the stairs, and try to preserve the natural character of this place. However, it is still a forest path, not a city promenade. Roots, uneven terrain, and the natural shape of the forest are part of its charm. That is why the path to the lake resembles more of a small adventure than a regular walk. For this reason, the descent is not adapted for people using wheelchairs, those with greater mobility difficulties, or for transporting strollers. If you love nature in its true form, the sound of birds, the smell of the forest, and places created with heart, you will probably feel great here. However, if you are looking for a resort with a concrete promenade leading straight to the water, Charszówka may not be the best choice.
