Description
The Red Barn is located in Łabędy - a charming, small village located in Drawsko County (West Pomeranian Voivodeship), surrounded by beautiful lakes and ponds. It's an ideal place for people who love walking in the countryside, cycling and even lazy lounging on a hammock. The plot on which the Red Barn is located includes a small forest and a direct descent to the lake, where there is a renovated private pier. Guests have access to a large garden, a designated fire pit and a covered barbecue area. On the first floor of the house there is a large open space with an equipped kitchenette, living room and dining room. In the sizable kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare breakfast yourself at the table or dinner on the platform. We've also taken care of such gastronomic curiosities as a Moroccan tajine, a waffle iron and a fire pit. Downstairs there is also a bedroom with a large double bed and a spacious bathroom with a sauna. Upstairs there are three rooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds), an office space with large monitors and a second bathroom. The internet works very well, so you are also welcome to workation. The dining room, living room or terrace are ideal places for creative meetings - there is enough space for an intimate group and numerous laptops. For guests who plan to spend more time with us, we can provide a washer-dryer by prior arrangement - please let us know when booking (service charged extra). We also offer rental for special occasions, such as trainings, workshops, courses or sports trips. In a nutshell! Pleasures waiting for you in the house and garden include: a terrace with comfortable rattan loungers, a hammock, a swing with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields, a barbecue area with a fireplace, a dry sauna and a spacious living room with a large dining table, ideal for family board games. Of interesting things to do in the area, we recommend: -swimming in the lakes (there is direct access to the lake and the renovated pier from the Red Barn plot), walks in the woods, -bicycle tours, -visiting the Regional Museum in Drawsko Pomorskie, -learning about the surrounding landscape parks (Drawsko and Insko), -baking yeast cakes in a traditional oven in Zelislawski Zapieck, -fishing in one of the hundreds of lakes, -finding stone circles of the Goths in the forest, -walking along the Avenue of Sailors in Czaplinek. If this is still not enough, we have more ideas: -walking through the disappearing Olchowiec with the ruins of the manor house, -observing wild bison in West Pomerania, -participating in a beauty workshop at Anapon Farm, -visiting an island on Lake Gągnowo, where traces of an early medieval settlement complex have been discovered, -treasure-hunting in Swansea, where two treasures have already been found.
