Welcome to the Thiele-Hof The origins of the farm on which our current location is situated go back some 400 years. Today, the farm is owned by the third generation of the Thiele family. At the end of the 1970s, the barn part of the historic Gulfhof was completely destroyed by fire. Only the outer walls made of peat-fired bricks, which still give the farm its characteristic appearance today, survived the fire and were preserved. Although the barn was rebuilt in a modern style, active farming on the farm came to an end a few years later. in 2020, the search began for a concept to reposition the farm for the future. The current owners and residents, Marie and Christoph Hoppe-Thiele, decided to take over the farm and moved from Bremen to East Frisia with their children Maja and Anton to Grandpa Otto. marie and Christoph another two years of planning and Approval procedures followed, until the demolition and rebuilding began in May 2022.
