We love to travel, the bigger ones in the far corners, Southeast Asia, Europe, but also the smaller ones - Polish. We fell in love a few years ago in the Klodzko Valley. We hike in the mountains, but at a leisurely, rather lazy pace, enjoying the landscapes, not taking up another battle to climb the highest peak. We would be lying if we said that we escaped from the city and make honeys in the countryside. We live in Poznań, which we like a lot but we like hiking even more, hence our constant trips and eventually our own home in nature. We love the architecture of Lower Silesia, the neglected manor houses, the revitalized but also the more desolate palaces, 19th century villas and spa houses with histories going back several centuries. We knew this is where we wanted a home. A little for us, a little for others. Scenes of evening possessions by the stream, surrounded by nature, silence and stars were painted in our heads. We were able to materialize all this very quickly in the form of a house that is perfect for us, which is Wilderness Orlovets. We dreamed of interiors filled with furniture from the infamous communist period. But we quietly mixed them with what was new and useful. We both graduated in cultural studies, although our professional paths steered us a bit elsewhere. We love animals, that's why we know that if we settle in Orlovets permanently we'll be there for sure, we'll claim all the village fosterers and goats of course! For now, we have to enjoy our shelter pet, who has been with us for 8 years. For the love of these creatures, we don't eat meat, and if we were to one day open a kitchen in Wilderness it would be 100% vegan. Wilderness is for everyone who appreciates nature, peace and quiet, respects neighbors and the rules of village life, who wants to relax while letting others around them relax. And someday we will organize the best music festival in the area here.
