El Figueral, an estate of 11 hectares of land, is located on the banks of the Ebro River in the region of Tarragona in southern Catalonia. In an area of incredible beauty and natural diversity. In the plains of the Ebro delta, is the Parc Natural dels Ports, immense limestone cliffs, ridges and pinnacles crowned by the mountain of Caro. The 350 square meter country house is located 58 meters above the Ebro river, surrounded by pine and olive trees, with incredible views of the Ebro river valley. Guests have access to the entire first floor and outdoor spaces, including an open kitchen with living room, corner fireplace and laundry room with washer and dryer, and a large open living room with dining area and a central wood-burning fireplace. Both the terraces with barbecue and the pool have stunning views of the mountains and the Ebro river valley. Accommodation: En-suite double room: this room has two single beds divided by a single bedside table, a separate chest of drawers and a double closet with full-length mirror. The bathroom has a whirlpool bathtub with shower, toilet and washbasin with lighted mirror. Toiletries, hairdryer and towels are provided. The room has air conditioning, central heating, a double aspect window with blinds and Wi-Fi connection. En-suite double room: this room has a king-size double bed with glass bedside tables, a separate chest of drawers, a double closet and a single closet with full-length mirror. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin with lighted mirror. Toiletries, hairdryer and towels are provided. The room has air conditioning, central heating, window with blinds and Wi-Fi connection. Family Room: This room has a king-size double bed and three single bunk beds to maximize the sleeping arrangement in the room. The bunk beds fold up and down, so when not occupied, they can be folded down to create a more spacious feel to the room. The double bed has tables, and there are pull-out ladders to the upper bunks. There are two single closets. There is no en-suite bathroom, but the family shower room is adjacent to the bedroom. It has a large shower, toilet and washbasin with lighted mirror. Toiletries, hairdryer and towels are provided. The room has air conditioning, central heating and a window with blinds and Wi-Fi connection. The private swimming pool is open from May to September. For hikers and cyclists, there are miles of hiking and biking trails right near the house, including the well-known greenway just a few miles away. We have excellent private fishing. Our riverside village of Benifallet has an incredible selection of restaurants and bars for a village of its size. Try a local meal from "menú del día, tapas or a la carte" or explore further afield in the Ebro Delta or any of the local coastal villages.
