Description
On a plot of 15 acres stands one wooden, year-round brda - Gawlicowka. It has been standing there for 30 years, but recently it has undergone a general renovation and a total metamorphosis. If you visit us you will be able to enjoy a comfortable and original interior. On one side, large glass windows will reveal to you a view of the mountains, and on the other a view of the forest. At most deer will peep into your windows. As a rule, the cottage is most comfortable for four people. The bedroom is located on a mezzanine (entrance by a ladder), you will sleep comfortably on a bed of 160x200 cm. Downstairs you can unfold the sofa - the area after unfolding is 140x200 cm. At your request we can put a crib for a baby. In the kitchen, you can cook to your heart's content. There is a relatively large refrigerator, an induction hob, a kettle, a set of pots, a frying pan, a set of plates and cutlery. Basic spices, oil, tea and a coffee maker with a supply of beans are always left for you. The bathroom has a shower, an extra heater, a hair dryer and liquid soap. Towels you do not need to bring with you. Many of the things inside the cottage we made ourselves or with the help of relatives, many things we renovated and gave them a second life. We rely on natural materials as much as possible. The heart of Gavlicowka is a two-story wooden terrace with mountain views and a netted hammock. The total area of the terrace is 30 square meters. It is illuminated, so you will also be able to use it in the evening and admire the starry sky. Slightly lower there is a fire pit with a grill grate. The hammock is left for you in the cottage, if you feel like it and weather conditions allow - hang it up for yourself between the trees. Right next to the cottage runs a trail leading to Hala Radziechowska and Barania Góra. In walking distance you will also reach Golgotha Beskidów. Slightly further, about 20 minutes by car from Gawlicowka is the village of Zabnica and the trail leading to Hala Boracza. In 30 minutes you can also reach Szczyrk, the winter capital of the Beskids with its many trails for skiers. In Wêgierska Górka a new aquapark with a spa zone has been opened. You can get there in about 15min by car. In the summer, it's worth a trip to Zywieckie Lake. If you will want to stay simply in the cottage - we see no obstacles, we will leave for you an equipped library and games for children and adults. You can order from us a basket of local products, which will include: bread baked by us, eggs from happy hens, fresh milk, local cheeses and cured meats, homemade jams, honey from a local apiary and juice from a nearby orchard.
