Description
Chatka Panorama is located in a beautiful, picturesque area of mountain meadows and forests, providing our guests with the opportunity to relax and engage in active recreation. Our guests can take advantage of a wide selection of cycling, hiking, and Nordic walking trails. Good snow conditions and the proximity of winter sports centers in Zwardoń, Korbielów, and Skrzyczne, equipped with numerous ski lifts, attract tourists in winter. 5 km from the village of Lipowa lies Żywiec, which is surrounded to the south by the Żywiec Beskids - one of the most beautiful regions of the Polish mountains, with the massive ridges of Pilsko and Wielka Racza, and further east, Babia Góra. From the highest peaks of the Beskids, magnificent mountain landscapes unfold: the panorama of the Tatra Mountains and the vast landscape of the Żywiec Valley. It would be hard to find a more charmingly located town in Poland than Żywiec, where the mountains meet the lake right at its gates, and above the town rises the solitary peak of Grojec, where a prehistoric settlement was discovered, indicating habitation that existed here long before our era. It is an excellent base for mountain excursions and lies on an important international communication route to Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as further south into Europe.
