Attractions: -Villa Le Fleur The Villa la Fleur museum attracts art lovers from all over the world. Two historic villas house several hundred works of painting and sculpture of the first half of the 20th century. It is the only museum in Poland to display works by world-class artists such as Tamara Lempicka, Amedeo Modigliani, Fernand Léger, Chaïm Soutine, Tsuguharu Foujita, Moses Kisling and Ossip Zadkine. -Old Paper Mill Even before a summer resort was established in Konstancin-Jeziorna, a paper mill - one of the first in Poland - was founded on the aforementioned river on the initiative of King Stanislaw Augustus! It was on paper handmade there that the May 3 Constitution was written down. After fat years, came lean ones, the building fell into disrepair and only at the beginning of this century underwent revitalization. Today it's one of the most fashionable shopping malls - and there's a sophisticated perfumery, a delicatessen with specialties from all over the world, or pubs such as "Rolls Through the Tin" -Spa Park It should be the highlight of your visit to Konstancin. It was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and decorated in English style. Since 1898, a train ran to it from Unii Lubelskiej Square on a specially built line. And the terminus station was located in the building of the current Eva Park Hydrotherapy Center & Spa. Patients were drawn here for the local mineral waters and mud deposits. But also for entertainment - there was a casino, tennis courts, horseback riding and canoeing. -Brine graduation tower This is today the biggest attraction of the Spa Park. Built more than 40 years ago, it is 40 meters long and in the inner courtyard stands a mushroom from which the brine mist comes out. The graduation tower is open from April to October, and the air around it (with more than 7 percent mineral concentration) creates a microclimate similar to the sea. Thus, for Varsovians, a trip to Konstancin-Jeziorna can even replace a trip to the sea 400 kilometers away. -Old villas and modernity What is worth seeing in Konstancin beyond the main points of interest? Actually... everything. A walk among old pre-war houses interspersed with modern villas is quite an attraction. One of the historic villas, known as Hugononka, has been turned into a thriving Konstancin Cultural Center. There used to be a natural treatment facility, a boarding house and the Beata cinema. Today it hosts jazz and theater festivals, exhibitions and author meetings. Those who prefer nature over culture will also find something for themselves in this area. The city is surrounded by nature reserves. Here are some of them and their natural attractions: -Rest in the green Obory Meadows - adjacent to the palace-park complex in Obory and overgrown with picturesque ash, alder, elm and lime trees. The Oborski Escarpment is a richly sculpted escarpment of the Vistula valley with numerous springs and ravines. Chojnowski Landscape Park is, among other things, a paradise for ornithologists, here we will see, among others, partridge grasshoppers, grebes and redshanks, teals, whiskers, redshanks, black storks. A botanical curiosity of the Park is the position of Pomeranian honeysuckle. It smells insanely! So let's enjoy its charms, because to the island of Wolin, where it is widespread, some may be a little far!
