Gościniec Szuwary – a quiet space in the heart of Masuria, a House hidden among the forests of the Piska Forest. Gościniec Szuwary is a place tucked away in the Masurian wilderness, where time does not speed up but gently slows down. Here, the day does not require a plan – it is enough to be, breathe, and listen to the forest. The hosts – Kasia, Maciek, and their sons – have created a place that does not impose itself with form but invites with presence. They are accompanied by three dogs: Milky, Lucky, and Bella, who naturally fit into the rhythm of this place. The house is located on the edge of the Piska Forest, next to the Krutynia River. The forest and water are not a backdrop – they are a daily reality that sets a calm rhythm of life. Interiors that allow you to breathe. The space of Szuwary is bright and peaceful, built of wood, surrounded by greenery and simplicity. There is nothing here that distracts attention – only what is needed to truly relax. Guests have at their disposal: - two independent cottages by the edge of the forest - a separate main building, which houses 4 double rooms and 4 apartments - a veranda as a third building serving as a common space for all Guests Each place has its own bathroom and a set for brewing coffee and tea. There are no televisions in the rooms – because silence, conversation, and the view outside the window are more important here. The day starts slowly with breakfasts prepared from local products – rich in variety, seasonal, and healthy. The glazed veranda with a fireplace is the heart of Gościniec Szuwary. In the morning, it is filled with light and the smell of coffee, in the evening – the warmth of the fire from the fireplace and calm conversations or board games. Around the house stretches a large, partially wild garden – a space that does not impose form. You can simply be there: sit down, lie in the grass, watch how the light changes between the trees, sway in a hammock, or gaze at the stars from a deck chair. Guests have access to: - a bonfire place, - sauna, - a space for everyone to rest quietly. The guesthouse is pet-friendly – small dogs are welcome upon prior arrangement and for a fee of 50 PLN per night. We accept guests from the age of 14, which creates a calm, mature atmosphere. The location in the heart of the Masurian Landscape Park makes nature always close. The Krutynia River flows nearby – perfect for kayaking trips that allow you to see Masuria from its most interesting side. Surrounding are lakes, forests, and roads that lead nowhere – only further into nature. In the area, there are: - cycling and walking trails, - Nordic walking paths, - winter running trails, - a horse stud, - Leśniczówka Pranie, - Wolf’s Lair. Gościniec Szuwary is located in Krutynia – in one of the most picturesque and green parts of Masuria. It is a place for those who do not seek attractions but a moment of respite.
