Come to a place where the morning wakes you with the song of birds, cats stroll through the yard, and horses graze peacefully behind the house. In the small Masurian village of Pilec, among fields, old trees, and close to lakes, lies our unique, old German manor. I run it myself and every day I strive to maintain its character, history, and above all – its soul. This is not a modern hotel. And that is precisely its charm. A historic cobblestone path leads to the house, and the manor is surrounded by as much as 18 hectares of land. We do not try to impose nature on ourselves. On the contrary – we let it be itself. We do not mow all the grass, as the best part is "mowed" by our horses and visiting deer. Old apple and cherry trees grow around the house, and nature itself creates a landscape that cannot be designed. Inside, you will also find traces of bygone times. The original tiled stove has been preserved here, which still works and pleasantly warms the house in winter. There are old, original floors and elements that remember a time when life looked completely different. And it is this atmosphere that we strive to maintain. You will not find a television here. Instead, you will find books. In the manor, I have prepared 4 rooms for you, each with a private bathroom. There are double, triple, and five-person rooms available. In the common area, there is everything you need to start your day peacefully: a kettle, coffee machine, coffee, tea, refrigerator, mugs, and plates. There is also a comfortable sofa and a large table where you can sit together. Outside the house, there are designated places for grilling. If you want to cook for yourself during your stay, you can rent the adjacent apartment with a kitchen. Not just accommodation The manor in Pilc is also an artistic space. In addition to renting rooms and the apartment, I organize various workshops, training sessions, meetings, photo shoots, and photography outdoor sessions here. My name is Ilona, and I am the one who independently runs this unique agritourism every day. I take care of the house, its surroundings, the animals, and the Guests, putting my whole heart into it. I am not a large hotel or an impersonal guesthouse – I am the hostess of a place that has its own history, character, and unique atmosphere. The contemporary history of the manor dates back to 1998. However, the history of the building goes back to 1820 when it was bought by Ietie and Bran, newcomers from Holland. Over the years, they created this place together, and today, after Ietie's passing, I continue this story, trying to preserve its unique character and spirit. It is more than just a business for me – it is a care for a place that has become a part of my life. My heart belongs primarily to animals. That is why our manor is friendly to four-legged Guests. Our horse Milord and also cats, each with their own character and little habits, live here. There is also our squirrel team! For us, animals are not an addition to the decor – they are part of this place and its daily life. I invite those who seek rest away from the urban hustle, love nature, value authenticity, and do not expect an anonymous hotel atmosphere. This is the perfect place for a peaceful stay, long walks, contact with animals, and a moment of breath from daily duties. It is important to remember before booking that we offer guest rooms without access to a kitchen, but next door is a large 100m apartment with a kitchen, and a historic German cobblestone path leads to our farm. Running this place alone is a daily job for me, responsibility, and many duties, but above all, it is a great satisfaction. I strive to make every Guest feel welcome here, and that their stay is not just accommodation, but also a meeting with a place that has its own story.
