Description
Hucianka is a charming home for two, a family, or a group of friends. The stone house was built around 1898. We renovated it while preserving its original character and details. It was our home for years, and today we welcome guests here. The entire house and garden are yours alone. Hucianka is located in the atmospheric village of Antoniow, surrounded by forests and meadows. There are trails around the house, forests full of mushrooms, and plenty of places to explore. You can also stay in, take a bath, light a bonfire, or simply do nothing. Hucianka offers 400 sq. m of space just for you. We don’t rent out individual rooms—you get the entire old stone house, garden, and terrace. In summer, the air is scented with lavender; in autumn, with the forest and mushrooms; and in winter, the house is at its best by the fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms (2 with mezzanines) and 3 bathrooms (1 with a shower, 1 with a bathtub, and 1 with both a shower and a bathtub), a large kitchen with a dining area, and an additional relaxation space where you can work, read, or simply do nothing. Who is Hucianka for? For those who love the atmosphere of old houses more than modern apartments. For those who want to spend time together or simply disappear for a few days. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, we’d love to welcome you. The house will be exclusively yours. The house is surrounded by forests, meadows, and fields, and is close to many interesting places to discover. The nearest villages (Kopaniec, Chromiec, Stara Kamienica) are atmospheric places where you’ll meet few people, even in peak season. The village is near the Polish-Czech-German tripoint, so you can cross one border—or even two—in an hour. There is plenty of space in the house to relax and unwind. In summer, lavender blooms in the garden, where you’ll also find hammocks and a spot for grilling and bonfires. A sauna for 6 people will be available soon. In summer and autumn, you can forage for mushrooms and berries nearby. You can also go hiking—the trails to Rozdroże Izerskie, Wysoki Kamień, Wolframowe Źródło, Bobrowe Skały, and more start behind the house. You can drive to Szklarska Poręba (18 km/23 minutes) or Świeradów-Zdrój (20 km/25 minutes), explore the mountain trails, and discover the real Izera Mountains. You can also go cycling in the area—the forest paths start right behind the house. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing in Jakuszyce (26 km/30 minutes) or downhill skiing in Świeradów-Zdrój (20 km/25 minutes). Those wishing to explore historic sights can visit the Knights’ Tower in Siedlęcin, Czocha Castle, Frýdlant Castle, and dozens of other places. You can reach Prague or Dresden in 2 hours.
