Description
Hello everyone, We’d like to briefly introduce you to our little mountain farm in the beautiful Bavarian Forest. We’re centrally located between the towns of Straubing, Cham, and Viechtach, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest above the village of 94375 Stallwang, with the village square just a 5-minute walk away. In addition to a bakery, pharmacy, home goods store, and bus stop, the village square also features a restaurant serving good local cuisine and a small pizzeria. As mentioned, our small farm is situated slightly elevated above the edge of the village, offering a beautiful panoramic view on the southern slope of the Gallnerberg. Since we only have three alpacas and cats here, it’s also wonderfully quiet. Central yet secluded. Dogs are very welcome. After a hike of about 30–45 minutes, you’ll reach our local mountain, which, depending on the weather, offers a view of the Alps. We’re the starting point for circular hiking and biking trails, and the Goldsteig hiking trail also passes by us. You can also explore a castle ruin nearby. RV Parking Spots: We have space for up to three vehicles on our property at any given time. With a distance of up to about 30 meters between each spot, privacy is guaranteed. One parking spot is located below the former stable on a path paved with grass pavers, which is easily accessible from the road. Another is situated above the farmstead with a view over the meadow and the town center. The third parking spot is right next to the alpaca pasture. A fire pit with a swivel grate is perfect for grilling. Firewood is available for a small fee. Restrooms, electricity (6A), fresh water, and gray water/composting toilet disposal are available, as is Wi-Fi. In addition to the restrooms, there is also an outdoor shower with hot water. For social evenings and bad weather, a cozy lounge with an integrated kitchen and a wood-burning stove is available. Upon arrival, we’ll give you a short tour of the farm. We look forward to seeing you ♥
