Description
Siedlisko Kotula was created out of a love for the forest, quiet, birdsong, and clean air. Our place of power is located in the village of Trzepieciny, at the foot of Kotula Hill (341 m above sea level), in the very heart of Roztocze. In spring, yellow-green carpets of rapeseed and grain surround us, and in winter, a fluffy blanket of snow. Our renovated home combines old-world charm with modernity, so we kept the old tiled stove, where you can still bake flatbreads. There is also a large, spacious living room with a sofa, three bedrooms and, for your comfort, two bathrooms. As befits a rural homestead, there is also the queen herself: the barn, where we have created a space to relax. It can host intimate family celebrations, gatherings, and workshops. Beneath Kotula Hill, which you can climb for the most beautiful views of Roztocze and an abundance of herbs, we have created a place where you can recharge your batteries far from the noise of the world. Immerse yourself in the warm water of the hot tub, warm up in the sauna, swing in a hammock, and in the evening sing or chat by the crackling fire of the fireplace or campfire. Relax in the house, with a terrace you can enjoy in both summer and winter. We didn’t rebuild the fence we took down, opening the garden to the forest and our minds to the open space. Roztocze is perfect for active pursuits such as hiking, cycling, and kayaking on the Wieprz River. For something more relaxing, you can gather herbs, watch birds, or track wolves—and nowhere else will you see such a starry sky. Sample Eastern Polish cuisine and wines from regional vineyards. Come here if you want to stop struggling against life and find the strength of calm.
