Welcome to the forest settlement, where the road ends and a pastoral retreat begins. The settlement is located at the foot of Mount Majdan, the highest peak of the Rożnowskie Foothills in the village of Roztoka-Brzeziny. Here, you will immerse yourself in the nature that surrounds our homestead. You will taste local food, straight from the host. You will feel the pastoral atmosphere that we have created in a 100-year-old wooden cottage in the woods and in the "owl houses". You will see what life in the countryside looks like. You will hear yourself, thanks to the silence of this place. After making a reservation, please contact us via private message so that we can send you the current menu for the week (seasonal menu). Prices: • Breakfast: 80 PLN/person • Dinner: 120 PLN/person • Package (breakfast + dinner): 150 PLN/person The SPA area (Sauna + Hot Tub) is shared among three cottages, and hourly reservations are required in 2-hour segments, from 3 PM to 5 PM, 5 PM to 7 PM, 7 PM to 9 PM, or 9 PM to 11 PM. Reservations can be made on-site or after making a reservation. To meet your expectations, we do not organize party stays at the Settlement, ensuring a comfortable retreat in peace and quiet. The use of personal external sound systems is prohibited throughout the property. Our stay at the Forest Settlement in the cottage we rented was absolutely unique and full of unforgettable experiences. The cottage, in which we had the pleasure of staying, was very well equipped and well maintained, with attention to every detail. The atmosphere in the area was extremely relaxing - silence, tranquility and proximity to nature allowed us to completely get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The terrace had a beautiful view , which was a great opportunity for morning walks and evening moments of relaxation. We also really appreciated the location - in the heart of the forest, but at the same time close to nearby tourist attractions. The host was incredibly hospitable and helpful, ensuring our comfortable stay and answering all our questions. The entire infrastructure was of a very high standard, and additional amenities, such as a fireplace, barbecue and spacious gazebo, only increased the comfort of our stay. We definitely recommend Forest Settlement to anyone looking for a place to relax in full harmony with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is an ideal place to relax, regenerate and spend time. We will certainly return here in the future!

A very beautiful and peaceful place, ideal for spending a weekend in the midst of nature. The cottages are located under the tree line right on a hill and the view from the cottages overlooks the surrounding meadows, hills and forests. Below the cottages is a cottage and garden, which further add to the character of the place. At night all the lights go out and silence falls, interrupted only by the movement of branches and animals walking nearby. Not far from the cottage is a large wood-heated log-bath and sauna, which can be used at will. We take care of keeping the fire going ourselves, ensuring the right conditions for sauntering and relaxing in the log. He admits that this solution was to our liking. Our stay went very pleasantly from start to finish. A pleasant surprise for us was that we had exclusive use of all the facility's attractions. The cottage we stayed in was the first fully-furnished cottage from the forest settlement, clean and thoughtful inside. Fresh milk and cake were waiting for us in our refrigerator and a letter was addressed by name on the countertop. Despite staying in mid-October, the weather didn't prevent us from spending mornings with coffee on the terrace and long walks in the countryside. In the evenings, on the other hand, sauntering and relaxing in a log with a glass of wine. The host himself is an extremely nice person full of passion for what he does. He explained to us the rules of the facility, and step by step how to use the attractions so that there were no unpleasant surprises. We were given pins with places in the area to visit and the attractions he recommended. At the end we had a pleasant conversation about the history of the Forest Settlement and its future. In ty place there is something for everyone. People who like to spend time actively can take advantage of the nearby hiking trails and visit nearby attractions. We are close to Mt. Majdan, Lake Roznowskie, Monkey Island, Szpilowka observation tower, St. Urban's Hermitage, Tropsztyn Castle, Beluard, Roznowskie Rocks, Wild Viewpoints. On the other hand, those who like to relax will not be bored at the lodge. There is an area with a sauna and a bale, you can make a barbecue or light a bonfire. I highly recommend.

I bought it from my uncle in a state of disrepair; it required immediate and thorough renovation. Over the years, I’ve put a lot of work, heart, and determination into this place to save it and gradually expand it. I also run a YouTube channel called “Leśna Osada,” where I’ve been documenting every step of this journey from the very beginning—from the initial rescue work to the subsequent changes and development of the settlement. Since 2024, the settlement has been open to you, our guests—who can come here and experience the unique, magical atmosphere of this place.
