"Masia Vilaterçana" is a medieval farmhouse already documented in the year 1356 A.D. Located in the "Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt" it has 100 hectares declared "Wildlife Reserve" and until the beginning of the century it was dedicated to the cultivation of grapes and the elaboration of wine. With spectacular views of the rocky mountains of the Natural Park, as if we were in the Pyrenees, but only 40 minutes from Barcelona. Being "Wildlife Reserve", you can see roe deer grazing quietly in the meadows, and rabbits and foxes that you can observe some days in front of the windows of the house. The farmhouse is decorated as a "lived house"mixing the old and the modern without complexes; with sculptures, unusual objects, books, films, paintings, etc. because we like our guests to feel at home and because we trust them. From Masia Vilaterçana you will not see buildings, urbanizations or people... and you will be able to enjoy the silence of nature. The swimming pool, an old round water collection pool, is behind the house, surrounded by nature and is totally private. You can make short excursions to Romanesque monuments from the middle of the 10th century (Sant Feliuet de Vallcárcara), the rocky castle of the 10th century "Castell de Pera" which is located in the middle of the village "Castell de Pera" that can be seen from the farmhouse, medieval tombs carved into the rock, etc. . We offer guided visits to the "Cova Simaya", where recently fossil remains of the Neanderthal species were found, and various activities to choose from such as trekking, mountain biking, climbing, etc... A 20 minute walk following the river path to the south, is the small village of Sant Llorenç Savall of 2,500 inhabitants, with all kinds of services: A medical center of primary health care (CAP), bars, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, fishmonger, butcher, hairdresser, beauty center, ATMs, car mechanics, skatepark, indoor soccer court, etc.. We live in a little house of "masovers" 50m from the farmhouse to help you in whatever you need during your stay and to make you feel safe and comfortable, although the farmhouse has all the privacy and intimacy necessary to live without having contact with us ... although we like our guests! IT IS FORBIDDEN TO HOLD PARTIES, CELEBRATIONS OR EVENTS OF ANY KIND, AS WELL AS TO USE THE HOUSE FOR ADVERTISING (this may result in immediate eviction from the house without the right to any refund). NO NOISE MAY BE MADE FROM 24:00 TO 08:00 It is not allowed to invite more people than those who are staying.
