Autumn at Nuka House unfolds slowly. In the morning, mist hangs over the fields, and you can enjoy coffee by the large window overlooking Biskupia Kopa. In the evening, the water in the jacuzzi is warm as the air turns cool and stars appear above the garden. Nuka House consists of two cottages, Nuka and Ami, nestled in the buffer zone of the Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park, near the Czech border. Each cottage is rented exclusively to one party. Nuka stands in the middle of the garden, in an open space with the sky above. Ami is tucked among apple and cherry trees and an old walnut tree. Both have a mezzanine bedroom with a large bed, a sofa bed in the living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a desk with a view. Each cottage accommodates up to 4 people, and a baby cot is available at no extra charge. The interiors are bright and peaceful. Wood, soft light, large windows, and simplicity that never distracts. It’s a space where it’s easy to put your phone away, sit a little closer to one another, or simply watch the day change outside the window. Outside, there’s a garden, views of fields and mountains, and a quiet that takes no searching. In the morning, you can hear birdsong. In the evening, the light slowly fades from the meadows. The garden is fenced (approx. 0.5 ha), with a spot for a campfire, an old well with a pump, and bicycles for leisurely rides. Horses graze just 25 steps from the house, right beyond the fence. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. You can add the jacuzzi next to the cottage to your stay for an extra 100 PLN per night. You choose which evenings to enjoy it. Candles are also provided in the cottage, creating a calm, intimate atmosphere after dark. Warm water, the scent of evening, soft light, and sunset create a moment many guests remember most vividly. It’s a lovely place for a stay for two, a peaceful weekend, a few days offline, creative work, or a break with no plans. There’s no overload of attractions here. Just nature, light, space, and the feeling that you can finally take a deep breath. Nearby, you’ll find hiking and cycling trails, viewpoints, local cafés, and quiet roads winding through nature.
