Ahoy! Ovczarnia Tatry is a new accommodation on the map of Podhale. If we had to describe us in two sentences we would use the phrase: "Modern construction with elements of highland tradition. Surrounded by nature and in the company of sheep." Sheep, which changed our conception of the place. Why? Because it was supposed to be more modern, but creating this place not from the couch, but being there, in the Podhale and observing daily life made us realize that our place in the Tatra Mountains can be both modern and traditional at the same time. The constant presence of sheep from April to October made us understand that they are the residents here, and we are the guests. And so we changed our first name to a name associated with our sheep neighbors, Sheepfarm Tatra. Following the concept of modernity-tradition, we have fenced our modern barns with a traditional highland fence, which the sheep can handle anyway, and they invade our green grass ;) It doesn't bother us at all, because sheep are a permanent part of the Podhale landscape and our Lesnica everyday life. The sounds of bells tied to the sheep's necks accompany us here all day. Their curious glances and the smug Baca who visits us every day are our reality.... Oj this has its one and only and unique atmosphere. If you like unexpected visits of such neighbors then with us you will meet them for sure, and if you want to eat real oscypki, which are the best in the area then let us know. Baca will organize ;) Sheepfold is a place on the sidelines. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are high because we are over 1000 meters above sea level. The views we have are beautiful. On the valley, on the mountain where horses run and cows eat the green grass. A piece further on is a view of the entire Tatra Mountains panorama. With us you will relax, switch off, but if you want to go out to restaurants then just 3 km from us there is everything you need. Restaurants, stores, thermal baths, ski slopes, everything at your fingertips. Our cottages are decorated according to the concept of modernity-tradition. The combination of white, wood and natural stone are the themes of the interior of our cottages. In each of them there are 6 beds. We have placed 2 bedrooms on the mezzanine. 1 bedroom is equipped with a double double bed. In bedroom 2 there are 2 single beds. Bedrooms are separated from each other, but they do not have one wall only a railing so that from each of them it is possible to wake up in the morning and before your eyes have a beautiful view of the neighboring hill. On the first floor of the cottage there is a living room with a folding corner sofa for 2 people, a fully equipped kitchen and a functional bathroom. The equipment of the cottage allows for the normal functioning of 6 people. In the price of the cottage we provide fresh linen and towels. The cottage is heated electrically through a heated stone floor. Each cottage is equipped with a wood-burning goat. Thanks to it even the biggest stove will warm up after a frosty walk ;) And the atmosphere of falling snow outside the window and a fire in the fireplace can be imagined ;) Adjacent to the cottage is a large terrace with a place to relax. Each cottage has its own exclusive balia. The balia is wood-fired. The charm of snow, frost, balia with aero and hydromassage unique ;) There is also a fire pit organized on the premises. Here you can roast a sausage and hum highlander chants ;) The issue of wood for the goat, the bale and the campfire is to be negotiated with us ;) We have a lot of it after construction so we provide it free of charge. After the stock is finished we will make arrangements ;) We have a parking lot for 4 cars. In winter, be sure to visit us equipped with winter tires - the access road to the cottages is admittedly a communal asphalt road, but as it happens in mountain areas - winter surprises the roadmen here. We accept small, well-behaved dogs up to about 8kg in weight, but only in the Baca cottage. We respond to the needs of allergy sufferers, and in the Juhas cottage you will breathe a sigh of relief without worrying about animal allergens ;) Dogs larger than 8 kg. - on request. Pet fee is 150 PLN for the entire stay and is paid in cash on site. We hope that soon we will meet in Owczarnia, and if not at our place then on the mountain trail because it is worth coming to the Tatras for their beauty, for our health, for spending time together with family, friends.
