Hello! Owczarnia Tatry is a new accommodation place on the map of Podhale. If we had to describe ourselves in two sentences, we would use the phrase: "Modern construction while preserving elements of highlander tradition. Surrounded by nature and accompanied by sheep." Sheep that changed our concept of this place. Why? Because it was supposed to be more modern, but creating this place not from the couch, but being there, in Podhale and observing daily life made us realize that our place in the Tatras can be both modern and traditional at the same time. The constant presence of sheep from April to October made us understand that they are the residents here, and we are the guests. And so we changed our first name to a name related to our neighbors, the sheep, Owczarnia Tatry. In line with the concept of modernity - tradition, we fenced our modern barns with traditional highlander fencing, which the sheep manage just fine and invite themselves onto our green grass ;) We don't mind at all, because sheep are a permanent element of the Podhale landscape and our daily life in Leśnica. The sounds of bells tied around the sheep's neck accompany us here all day. Their curious looks and the lovely shepherd who visits us every day are our reality... Oh, it has its unique and unrepeatable atmosphere. If you like unexpected visits from such neighbors, you will definitely meet them here, and if you want to eat real oscypek, which are the best in the area, just let us know. The shepherd will organize it ;) Owczarnia is a place off the beaten path. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are high, over 1000 m above sea level. The views are beautiful. Over the valley, onto the mountain where horses run, and cows graze on the green grass. A little further, there is a view of the entire panorama of the Tatras. Here you can relax, disconnect, but if you feel like going out to a restaurant, everything you need is just 3 km away. Restaurants, shops, thermal baths, ski slopes, everything within reach. Our cottages are decorated in the concept of modernity-tradition. The combination of white, wood, and natural stone is the main theme of the interiors of our cottages. Each of them has 6 sleeping places. On the mezzanine, we placed 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom is equipped with a double bed. In bedroom no. 2, there are 2 single beds. The bedrooms are separated from each other, but they do not have a full wall, only a railing, so from each of them, you can wake up in the morning and have a beautiful view of the neighboring hill. On the ground floor of the cottage, there is a living room with a fold-out corner sofa for 2 people, a fully equipped kitchen, and a functional bathroom. The cottage's equipment allows for the normal functioning of 6 people. The price of the cottage includes fresh bedding and towels. The cottage is heated electrically through a heated stone floor. Each cottage is equipped with a wood-burning stove. Thanks to it, even the biggest cold-blooded person can warm up after a frosty walk ;) And you can imagine the atmosphere of falling snow outside the window and the fire in the fireplace ;) The cottage has a large terrace with a place to relax. Each cottage has its own hot tub. The hot tub is heated with wood. The charm of snow, frost, and the hot tub with aerotherapy and hydromassage is unique ;) The fee for a 2-hour bath in the hot tub in one day is 200 PLN. There is also a designated place for a bonfire on the premises. Here you can roast sausages and hum highlander songs ;) We have parking for 4 cars. In winter, be sure to visit us equipped with winter tires - the access road to the cottages is indeed a municipal asphalt road, but as it often happens in mountainous areas - winter surprises road workers here. We accept small, well-behaved dogs up to about 8 kg in weight, but only in the Baca cottage. We cater to the needs of allergy sufferers, and in the Juhas cottage, you can breathe a sigh of relief, not fearing animal allergens ;) Dogs larger than 8 kg - upon request. The fee for a pet is 150 PLN for the entire stay and is paid in cash on site.
