The Rectory of Castellar is an isolated building in the PEIN protected area of L'Alta Garrotxa that borders the Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone. Castellar de la Muntanya is an old village that currently belongs to the municipality of La Vall de Bianya (Girona). It is very close to Olot (20') and St. Joan les Fonts (15').
