Our unusual place is located in the Owl Mountains in the heart of the Central Sudetes. It is located over the Sokola Pass at an altitude of 875 m above sea level, right next to the red trail (the Main Sudeten Route named after Mieczyslaw Orlowicz) leading to the highest peak of the Owl Mountains - Great Owl (1014 m). Surrounding nature, forest, proximity to nature give the opportunity for complete relaxation and rest. Near our area - a wonderful hostel with a wonderful panorama! The hostel building was built in 1931, then before the war it was called Bismarckbaude. Mountain Hostel "Eagle" is an excellent starting point for exploring this interesting and mysterious corner of the Sudetes. It is also a good place to rest while conquering the Sowie Mountains peaks, including the highest one, the Great Owl! In the hostel you can relax, drink excellent Polish, local as well as Czech beer and eat traditional tourist dishes.

The place in person looks overpriced! After looking at the photos, we weren't sure exactly what the campground would look like, but after visiting we fell in love. Beautiful views (close to the tents forest), 2 min walk to the hostel - and you have unearthly views of the Owl Mountains. Clean toilet, bathroom, kitchen with very basic but sufficient equipment. You can make your own campfire (in a designated place), you can light a barbecue and you can eat deliciously in the hostel. It is worth bearing in mind that the terrain for tents is not level everywhere, and we, for example, were glad that we had mattresses, because we could camp anywhere. I definitely recommend it! And we will definitely come again! 💕

A place worth recommending by all means, starting with the extraordinary views and the opportunity to observe interesting meteorological phenomena that I have not experienced before. This hostel has everything a tourist craving to hike in the mountains and then return for a rest needs. Very cool camping area. Tasteful and elegant rooms (or at least mine was like that). Pleasant bedding, comfortable sleeping, well, and the view outside the window is also gorgeous. Clean bathrooms, a large common room (there's a refrigerator!), and a corner with books, which is really unique in this digital age. There is also a bar, coffee, good food and good beer on site. But what the guest gets here in a package is the owners' great class, kindness, support, help and smile. For me, the place turned out to be so creative that I came up with a plot for a book. Thank you and I will definitely come back here!
