Description

The "Siedlisko Natury" farm is a model ecological homestead located on the plateau of the picturesque village of Opolnica, surrounded by the Bardzkie Mountains. In 2012, we started from scratch on a stubble field, and the first step was to plant a hedge, an orchard with old varieties, a forest, and soil-enriching plants. We built a house according to the principles of ecological construction, using a wooden frame filled with straw bales and covered with clay plaster. The house is supplied with water from its own deep well, and electricity, heating, and hot water mostly come from renewable energy sources (sun and biomass). We do not use any agrochemicals in cultivation, and we maintain soil fertility using natural methods. We grow ground vegetables, mainly old and proven varieties. Our goal is to achieve the highest quality and freshness. Guests can stock up on fresh, healthy vegetables. Our priorities are: self-sufficiency, biodiversity, a healthy lifestyle in practice, and actively caring for the natural environment that is our home. The buildings are surrounded by flowers, herbs, and shrubs. The space where our guests stay is free from Wi-Fi and TV. Instead, you will experience the concerts of frogs, various species of birds, and crickets. The interiors we offer to guests are finished with natural materials: wooden plank floors, clay plaster. Comfortable beds made by the host from solid wood. Neat bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and balconies with views of the garden and mountains complete the feeling of choosing a good place. There are parking spaces in front of the gate. Upon crossing our gate, guests can expect an enthusiastic welcome from our pet Rudi, and our two goats are also eager to meet newcomers. In the garden, there is a swing and a place for a bonfire. All this is to allow you to breathe and relax in an organic & slow style. We invite you!

Friendly and hospitable hosts, approachable and helpful. A farm with beautiful views. Quiet and peaceful. Friendly animals—goats with their kids and a little dog. It’s idyllic—you don’t have to go anywhere. Nearby is the beautiful town of Bardo with all the amenities for a relaxing stay (restaurants, river rafting, hiking in the Bardo Mountains). A great starting point for exploring the entire Kłodzko Valley and beyond.
