Description

Siedlisko Ogródek is located in a small village of Krosna located at the foot of the Beskid Wyspowy, less than 70 km from Krakow. At an altitude of 475 mnp in a valley by the forest stands a log house where we live with our children, dog and cat, and you will find Tiny House on the edge of our 2ha plot. The mobile (heated and year-round)mini house we put in your hands we designed and built ourselves, all in accordance with the 3Rs principle: reuse, reduce, recycle. In it you will find our favorite mish-mash, i.e. wooden elements, travel souvenirs, secend-hand's trinkets and lots of vegetation. Coming to us you will be able to enjoy the picturesque landscape and direct contact with nature. You will certainly meet deer, hares, ba! sometimes and badger. June evenings with us smell of strawberries, and in July we invite you to currants. There is no light pollution here, so the starry sky encourages evening naughtiness on the terrace. Add to this the flowered meadows, long walks, and slow breakfasts, and if this sounds like the perfect mix for you, then welcome to our garden world! In summer, you can cool off in the Łososina River, or go a little farther to Lake Rożnowskie. For fans of winter sports, the two-kilometer Laskowa Ski slope awaits you. And if you want to learn something about local traditions or history, be sure to visit the Skansen na Jędrzejówce in Laskowa. Not far from us, there is also the Malopolska Wine Route with our favorite Zawadka Winery, where you can arrange wine and cheese tastings. For a day trip, we recommend Szczawnica and the bicycle route on the Dunajec River or a trip to Krynica Górska. On the 20 m2 area of Tiny House there is: -a mezzanine with a mattress (160 X 200), -a fully functional bathroom, -a sofa bed (120 X 180), -compact kitchenette with two-burner induction stove, sink, refrigerator with freezer, -basic cooking equipment, -we provide freshly ground coffee, tea, sugar and spices -we also have treated water for drinking Tiny House is ideal for 2 people, comfortable for 3, and can accommodate and 4, if there are those who like to cuddle on the sofa bed :) ❄️ Winter Alert ❄️ Our Habitat is located at an altitude of almost 500 above sea level. During winter, access to Tiny House can be difficult, so we ask our guests to bring car chains with them. It is also possible to leave your car just off the paved road, about 250 m from Tiny House, from where we will pick you up in our 4 x4 drive car 😊 See you in the Garden Habitat! The Tiny House Garden Habitat is absolutely adorable! Thankful that we were able to spend a weekend in it. Peace and quiet all around, birds flying outside the window, beautiful landscape and air smelling like nowhere else. But what impressed us the most, was that you can still meet people who are constantly smiling and helpful (bravo Tim)! We caught two seasons.... on Saturday it was autumn, and on Sunday it was already winter... we have no choice but to return in summer. :) Places are made by people and that's why, it's so special. Come and check it out for yourself! PS. Thank you Tim for suggesting that we could take the brush when it turned out that our car was completely covered in snow! Ania and Tom ___ The Tiny House is absolutely gorgeous. We are very glad we could stay there for the weekend. Peace and calmness, only forest around, the air so fresh like nowhere else and mountains in the distance, what more is needed for rest? However, the most impressive is we could meet people who are always smiling and helpful (Bravo Tim!) When we reached was warm autumn, but when we got up on Sunday it was winter, now we don't have a choice and we have to get back in summer! Places are created by people and it is so special! Thanks for everything! Ania&Tomek

To say it was fantastic is like saying nothing at all. First we got stuck on a snowy road to the delight of our thirsty winter weather daughter. Then, on a trailer, organized expressly by our savior - the owner of the Garden Habitat - we arrived at the Tiny House (my husband calls this marvel "Secret Halos"). There, apple pie and cider were waiting for us. I say right away as a lover of this kind of pie - such "apple pie" is what I have never tasted before! Heaven in the mouth! After that, we didn't need anything to be happy except that view behind the glass door. No television can replace it. It was love at first sight - to this charming cottage, which brought us very close to each other, to these mountains and forest.... We thank you for everything and dream of returning there when everything turns green around.

Kinga

Languages I speak: Polish, English

We are a Polish-English family who fell in love with the yet-to-be-discovered Beskid Wyspowy and decided to settle in a small village right on its doorstep. Our idea for Tiny House and living in the mountains was born during a year-long trip through Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Overnight stays in a myriad of accommodations, the hospitality of local hosts and the friendships we made, all of which solidified that we too wanted to create something unique and share it with others. And although we both worked for years in London corporations, we switched to this rural lifestyle with remarkable ease, which is not quite so ''slow'' ;-) Siedlisko Ogródek is our home, our piece of land and our dream come true. And for you, and here we hope so, it will become a place of rest to which you will always want to return.
