Description
The Ogródek Homestead is located in the small village of Krosna, at the foot of the Beskid Wyspowy, less than 70 km from Kraków. At an altitude of 475 m above sea level, in a valley by the forest, stands a log house where we live with our children, dog, and cat, and you will find the Tiny House at the edge of our 2-hectare plot bordering the Natura 2000 area. The mobile (heated and year-round) mini house that we hand over to you was designed and built by us – all in line with the 3R principle: reuse, reduce, recycle. Inside, you will find our favorite mishmash of wooden elements, souvenirs from our travels, second-hand knick-knacks, and plenty of greenery. When you come to us, you will be able to enjoy the picturesque landscape and direct contact with nature. You will definitely encounter deer, hares, and even badgers sometimes. June evenings smell of strawberries, and in July we invite you to pick currants. There is no light pollution here, so the starry sky encourages evening idleness on the terrace. Add to that flower-filled meadows, long walks, and leisurely breakfasts – if this sounds like the perfect mix to you, we invite you to our garden world! In the summer, you can cool off in the Łososina River or take a trip a bit further to Lake Rożnowskie. For winter sports enthusiasts, there is a two-kilometer slope at Laskowa Ski. If you want to learn about local traditions and history, be sure to visit the Open-Air Museum at Jędrzejówka in Laskowa. Nearby, there is also the Małopolska Wine Trail with our favorite Zawadka Vineyard, where you can arrange a tasting of wines and cheeses. For a full-day trip, we recommend Szczawnica and the bike trail along the Dunajec River or a trip to Krynica-Zdrój. On 20 m² of Tiny House space, you will find: - a mezzanine with a mattress (160 × 200 cm), - a fully functional bathroom, - a fold-out sofa (120 × 180 cm), - a compact kitchenette with a two-burner induction stove, sink, and refrigerator with a freezer, - basic cooking utensils, - freshly ground coffee, tea, sugar, and spices, - treated drinking water. The Tiny House is ideal for 2 people, comfortable for 3, but can accommodate even 4 – if there are those among you who like to cuddle on the fold-out sofa. 👣 Foot Massage 👣 For those tired from mountain walks or those seeking relaxation, there is an option to purchase a 50-minute reflexology foot massage session (by prior arrangement of availability). 🚨 Road Alert Our Homestead is located at an altitude of nearly 500 m above sea level. The last 200 meters of the road leading to the Tiny House is a gravel road, sometimes stony. If your car has a very low chassis, we recommend parking by the asphalt road. In winter, access to the Tiny House may be difficult, especially if you do not have a 4×4 vehicle. Therefore, we ask our Guests to bring metal tire chains – the roads in our area are steep and winding, and during snowfall, you won't get far without chains. There is also the option to leave your car: a) at a public parking lot in Krosna or b) right by the asphalt road, about 250 m from the Tiny House.
