Welcome to the hospitable thresholds of our extraordinary Bieszczady cottages in the Ptosek Settlement, also known as Bird Valley. There is no other place like this in Bieszczady, where the entire valley is enveloped by a forest within the boundaries of our Settlement. The Settlement is located in Bieszczady, in the village of Wola Matiaszowa, in a charming valley of the Bereżnica stream, near the Solina Lake, known as the Bieszczady Sea. Our place is close to three hectares of the Baligrodzkie Forests, on the edge of the village. The location of the settlement allows for a unique closeness to nature, in the vicinity of wildlife and countless birds above our heads, as well as nightly star festivals in the sky. The settlement is being built "slowly", in accordance with the rhythm of nature, with the work of the hosts' own hands, using local materials. There is no rush here, nothing is artificial. There is no super-fast, space-age, satellite internet, but... ...there is a place where every breath can be taken deeply. In our settlement, we respect the surrounding nature and adhere to the principle of good neighborliness, which is why we promote a recreational, relaxing character of tourism in our settlement, in a slow style, without noise, without loud parties, with respect for silence :) Here, birds say Good morning and stars say Good night :) WELCOME TO OUR FAIRYTALE :) "Pine Cottage", also known as the Upper Cottage, is the highest wooden house in the Ptosek Settlement, surrounded by a wall of forest, towering over our Bird Valley. "Pine Cottage" can comfortably accommodate 6 people and is dedicated to this maximum number of guests. The cottage is located on a hill in our settlement, at its highest point at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level, about 200 meters away from the Winged Cottage and about 30 meters from the Miłochtata and 300 meters from the nearest buildings at the edge of the village of Wola Matiaszowa. The cottage is enveloped by forest and has a beautiful view of the opposite "Wierchy". On the ground floor of the cottage, there is a beautiful, glassed, spacious living room with a fireplace and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with one large double bed (160x200) and one single bed (90x200). The bedrooms have beautiful glassed gable windows with a fantastic view of the mountains and forest. In the living room, there is a fold-out double sofa, in case guests want to configure the sleeping arrangements differently. In front of the cottage, there is a fire pit, so that shared evenings by the fire can add a different dimension to relaxation. For our guests, we always leave something for the senses, such as scented candles, incense, Bluetooth music equipment, internet radio, and artistic decorations, so that you feel at home. For moments of relaxation in an armchair or bed, we leave a small collection of books, including nature-themed books and books about Bieszczady. Shared evenings will also be enhanced by board games. We guarantee a unique atmosphere. The cottage is equipped with an outdoor charcoal grill and sun loungers. The property has Wifi, but if needed, the router can be turned off, allowing you to enjoy this little corner of the world :) For our guests in the living room of the cottage, we have prepared a projection screen along with a multimedia projector and Netflix and Prime Video services, so that every moment is spent pleasantly and to turn long winter evenings into movie screenings in the glow of the fireplace. By design, we do not equip the Cottage with traditional television, encouraging guests to engage in conversations, be together, and enjoy relaxation to the fullest, without haste, without unnecessary stimuli. Right next to the cottage, there are designated parking spaces for guests, with access to the Cottage 300 meters along a gravel road from the main asphalt road. IN WINTER, due to the steep driveway, during periods of snow accumulation, it may be necessary to leave the car at the entrance to the settlement. For such situations, there is an additional parking area right at the exit from the asphalt road (in such cases, we help carry luggage to the cottage in an off-road vehicle :)) NEW!!! For the guests of the Pine Cottage, we have prepared a HOT WOOD-FIRED OUTDOOR BATH, with a JACUZZI. The bath is EXCLUSIVELY for the guests of the Pine Cottage, right next to the cottage, so that it is "pleasantly" within reach :) It will be beautiful, it will be nice :) FOR CHILDREN :) On the premises of the Settlement, there is a mysterious "Forest Playground", hidden among the trees. Here we will find, among other things: a forest zip line, trampoline, swing, stork's nest, slide, sensory path, sandbox / mini beach with a mud kitchen. This natural playground is constantly changing, constantly developing, bringing joy and relaxation :) The playground is located 200 meters from the Pine Cottage, on the premises of our settlement.
