Welcome to Whisper of Alpacas – your private retreat surrounded by nature in Oederan, Saxony. This exclusive chalet on a well-kept alpaca farm offers a unique combination of comfort, nature and modern amenities. Surrounded by wide meadows and over 100 friendly alpacas, you can enjoy pure peace and relaxation here. The chalet impresses with its warm, cozy interior featuring lots of wood, especially smoked spruce, reminiscent of its home in the Ore Mountains. Large glass fronts open the living area to nature and lead directly to the year-round heated outdoor pool with 30°C warm salt water – a place to dive in and relax. A crackling fireplace and a private sauna also provide cozy warmth, inviting you to relax after an active day. With two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room, and high-quality beds, the chalet can accommodate up to six guests. The modern kitchen with coffee machine and all the necessary accessories invites you to cook together. The bathroom combines natural materials such as dark natural stone and spruce wood and has infrared heating for relaxed muscles. Babett & Wolfgang Eckardt We, Babett and Wolfgang Eckardt, caught the alpaca bug back in 2006. In 2008, we reconsidered our breeding goals and reoriented ourselves. In our experience, you can only be really good at something if you concentrate on a few essential details, so we decided to breed high-quality black alpacas. A herd of pure black alpacas is a fascinating sight! We are delighted to have made good friends in Robert Gane and Peter Kennedy from Canchones Alpacas, who were happy to share their knowledge and expertise with us. Our visit to them in Australia greatly encouraged us, and so in 2010 we founded our new farm: MIRIQUIDI – fine black alpacas. You are welcome to visit us and be enchanted by these gentle creatures and our ever-growing herd of black alpacas. For thirty years, we ran a large, very popular inn in the beautiful Ore Mountains, along with a farm with a straw bale house and an alpaca farm. But at some point, we longed for more peace and quiet. We fulfilled a long-cherished dream and built ourselves a chalet in the mountains – with everything our hearts desired. High-quality wood furnishings, a heated outdoor saltwater pool, a panoramic sauna with mountain views. We live in the farmhouse next door and enjoy sharing the chalet with lovely guests who appreciate "the sound of nature" as much as we do. Welcome to the "Miriquidi – Sound of Nature" chalet!
