## Let’s Get to Know Each Other! The Hosts of Żuków 10: Emilka and Tomek Hi! We’re so glad you’ve found your way to our humble home in Podlasie. We—Emilka and Tomek—are the ones behind everything you’ll see at Żuków 10. This place didn’t come about by accident. We’re from Podlasie, and even though fate sent us out into the world for a good chunk of our lives, our hearts never forgot this region. A few years ago, driven by a deep longing for the unique tranquility, unhurried pace, and magic of this region, we decided to return. Żuki 10 is located on my (Tomek’s) family’s ancestral land—a place of immense significance to us, into which we’ve breathed new life as a tourist destination. We pour our very best into running this place, perfectly dividing our roles: Tomek: My perspective is that of a traveler. I’m fulfilling my big dream by traveling the world on a motorcycle. Thousands of kilometers traveled, stays in various corners of the globe, and dozens of cultures encountered have shaped in me a very specific view of what a person truly needs to be able to fully relax. It is precisely from my personal travel experiences that the solutions we’ve implemented at Żukach 10 stem. I know how important independence, functionality, and uncompromising comfort are after an eventful day—which is why our cottages feature high-quality coffee makers, dishwashers, and large terraces perfect for long conversations. My philosophy is simple: I want to host you exactly as I, as a traveler, would like to be hosted on the other side of the world. Emilka, on the other hand, is the heart and soul of this place, ensuring the unique homey warmth of our agritourism. It is her sensitivity and dedication that make Żuki 10 so cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and full of positive energy. Emilka puts her whole heart into the natural, idyllic look of our property—she tends to the rustling grasses, wildflowers, and carefully selected plants that blend perfectly into the Podlasie landscape. Thanks to her, the entire space comes alive, has its own unique atmosphere, and invites you to relax immediately. So at Żuki 10, we’ve combined the best of both worlds: the absolute wildness and silence of the surrounding forests with thoughtful comfort and a genuine, homey atmosphere. We designed the charming Barn specifically with shared evenings, laughter, and feasting in mind, while the 3 cottages offer you the privacy you desire on their terraces. What does hospitality mean to us? We want you to feel at ease here—just like visiting good friends in the countryside.
