Close to nature and local traditions, with wooden decorations, old clay oven. Very quiet neighborhood, close to Knyszynska Forest, great local food (sourdough bread, home-made cottage cheese, etc.). You are cordially invited - this may be one of the best AlohaCamp experiences :) Radunin 35 is an example of charming West Belorussian folk architecture, a winner in the Competition for the Best Preserved Monument of Rural Wooden Construction in Podlaskie Province. "Radunin" - where did the name come from? Because people lived here who knew how to rejoice. Because despite poverty, hard work, daily difficulties, they knew how to rejoice, notice the beauty around them and thank God for the gifts and experiences sent to them. Because they were kind and lived according to the rhythm of nature. As the old residents say - people were pleasant here and the singing floated over the river, the fields from neighboring Valili to Radunin and back. The river and forests still generously bestow their gifts today. All sorts of fish, berries and mushrooms are in abundance. There is also no shortage of spring water. "Krynoczki" - they break out in many places and water can be drunk straight from the ground! There are still people living here who are bearers of kindness, benevolence, justice, diligence, humility and prayer. Their spirit and the spirit of their ancestors fill the atmosphere of this place. You can sit in front of the cottage on a bench and listen to stories of old history and new good news. In the summer of 2020, the house was restored with the intention of restoring every detail to its former glory. The unique atmosphere of the surroundings is created by the old buildings with ornaments, granary, bakery and barn, as well as classic country flower beds full of flowers blooming from early spring to later autumn. The heart of the house is the kitchen with an old tiled stove. It warms up on cold days when we smoke in it, but also at the very sight and thought of jumping on the casserole - Rejoices :) There is a fridge, stove, stylish crockery, cutlery... WiFi internet ie everything you need to live today. :) In the main room a comfortable, stylized bed, a set of guides and books about the region. And in the second smaller chamber, ideal for a couple with a child - a double bed and a wooden crib and material toys. The "Radunin" also has a stylized bathroom with a shower. Nothing pleases so much as a return to "happy childhood". In Radunin you can experience this, as if you were staying with your grandmother or great-grandmother, being loved and the most important Guest. Milk straight from the cow, eggs from happy hens, sourdough bread, herbs, apples of paradise and a plot of Jerusalem artichoke await in the neighborhood. The juicy tubers of this sunflower have a delicate, sweet, nutty flavor, reminiscent of artichokes and Brazil nuts. Nothing tastes better than this healthy, natural cuisine, and nothing is as nice as an unhurried meal eaten in the shade of an apple tree. Plus, who better than a great country alarm clock to help us start our day on time.
