A totally magical place. A small village in Masuria. A cottage located next to lots of trees, created to be nice, cozy, real and comfortable. To be able to escape from the city and settle down close to nature. There is something attractive here, it is said that you want to come back here. Time passes more slowly and peacefully here. At night in the cloudless sky you can see stars, in addition to the usual ones, thousands of others, just as if someone sneezed in the flour, seriously! There is room for four people, we have two cozy bedrooms with double beds and a common space in the form of a living room combined with a functional kitchen. In the summer, you can sit on the terrace to sip your morning coffee or swing in a hammock, spread a blanket, after all, it's a forest - and it's at the exclusive disposal of 8,000 sqm of its own forest! This huge, green part of the 100-trees pleases us the most, the fingers of mother nature herself in the design. One of the walls of our cottage is fully glazed, and the sofa and armchair are opposite it, so you can, regardless of the weather, watch the tits nibbling sunflower seeds in the feeder in front of the terrace (it's worth giving them something sometimes, the seeds are upstairs in the first closet from the front door), admire the pine trees swaying in the wind, or just look into the distance. In summer, you'll do the same thing directly from a deck chair on the terrace. It's really comparable fun to the best Netflix series! Regardless of the season and the prevailing weather, the cottage is warm (underfloor heating in the living room, kitchen and bathroom, convector heaters in the bedrooms. We provide fresh linens and towels (one set for the entire stay, additional linens and/or towels possible as an additional service). We try to limit the carbon footprint-we do not iron linens or towels. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, refrigerator-freezer. Of course, we also provide pots, pans, kettle, cutlery and crockery, cups, lamps, glasses. A corkscrew and bottle opener are also provided. In the kitchen you will not find an oven and microwave. The bathroom is equipped with a shower stall and a large sink, a supply of toilet paper. There is no washing machine, hair dryer, iron on the equipment. We provide wood and a place for a bonfire - take care of safety and never leave the hearth unattended. The cottage is equipped with LTE Internet, but that's not why you go to the forest to sit on Insta! We provide the password to the Internet only at the special and express request of guests - send a text message with the wording , "I GIVE UP". If singing birds (and roars of deer) were not enough, there is also a bluetooth speaker on the equipment. If the weather is not good you can reach for a book, play board games available on site. It's best to do nothing here. And if you absolutely must, at least do what you can't afford to do at home. Wine and a book at 10:00 in the morning? Who's going to forbid it? Hammock for 5 hours until your spine hurts? Nothing easier than that! Listening to birds belly up on the terrace? Go ahead. Studying the constellations? Only with a good derriere! Watching TV - of course*. *only if you bring your own TV The nearest neighborhood Do you like walking in the woods? This is the place for you. You might as well ride a bicycle (unfortunately, we don't currently provide these, but you can rent them in nearby Targow). A 20-minute walk away is Lake Lesk - a glacial, crystal clear lake, the shortest way leads to a steep descent and a neglected pier (for anglers rather than swimming enthusiasts). There is also a community beach, where it is safe to swim in (already a little farther away, more of a bike trip or 35 minutes on foot). The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of the Kulka nature reserve - plenty of deer, deer, foxes, hares and fowl around. And in autumn, of course, mushrooms. In the village, about 2 km from the cottage, there is a not badly stocked grocery store, with a wonderful rural atmosphere (you will understand on your first visit). For those who want a break from cooking 5 km away is the Targowski Dwór restaurant (bike rental mentioned there), and in season you can order lunch at the Nemo diving center (you need to call in the morning). You can also rent a boat or kayak there. Further afield If you get bored with the blissful silence and , "doing nothing'', there are more touristic (but also charming) Masurian towns within short distances. To Szczytno is 15 km, Mrągowo- 31 km, Ruciane Nida- 37 km, Mikolajki- 47 km. Come!
