Description
We offer you to stay in two wooden houses. These are charming old cottages, built of hewn pine logs. The first one was brought from the Kazimierz Dolny area, and the second one was brought from Ukrainian soil from the Ivano_Frankivsk area. The passing of time can be seen on the old wood, several decades old, smeared by the winds, exposed to the sun, frosts and rains. The wood is cracked, sometimes nibbled by woodworms, discolored into a dark honey color, smelling of resin, uneven and unique, creating unforgettable frames of natural compositions in every juxtaposition. The houses inside have been finished to a contemporary, high standard, while using many elements of traditional architecture. We have walls of both rustic brick and 100-year-old board, oiled wooden flooring and a brick chimney. For your comfort, the facilities are equipped with modern and environmentally friendly appliances. Hankowka Mazury is a charming place full of tranquility flowing straight from nature. Silence gives us the opportunity to relax and unwind. This is a priority for us, therefore we do not organize boisterous parties and we ask our guests to respect each other. For group stays there is a possibility to prepare trainings or thematic courses. In the area there are a number of bicycle paths and several beautiful beaches. For those who like sightseeing, there will be a choice of monuments of sacred, fortified or military architecture. Numerous village or themed festivals such as the Festival of Jurand of Spychow are held in season. Of course, the surrounding lakes offer fishing and water sports. Also nearby is the Krutynia River where one can rent canoes. For the youngest, we provide a small house with a swing and sandbox at each house for play. For older children there is a volleyball court and the so-called Monkey Grove, where you can climb, swing and jump on the trampoline.
