Located in the town of La Omañuela - municipality of Riello in the region of Omaña -, only 45 km from León and more than a thousand meters above sea level. Surrounded by large beech and oak forests, it is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the natural environment without the need for long journeys. The house is fully equipped for 4 people. It has heating and hot water. The house has 2 bedrooms with double bed and is equipped with rustic and functional furniture and there is the possibility of putting a crib in the house on request by guests. In one of the rooms there is a jacuzzi and a fireplace at the foot of the bed. The house has a complete bathroom with hydromassage column, chromotherapy system and hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee maker and all the necessary utensils for a comfortable stay. The living room has a large and comfortable sofa, TV, CD and DVD player. Outside we have an outdoor area with barbecue and garden furniture, plus a private garden for the use of guests of the rural complex Aguas Frias, also with barbecue, tables and hammocks. The house has a safe, first aid kit, iron and ironing board, numerous board games, tourist information on the main tourist resources in the area and reference books. In the nearest surroundings you can find the Selga de Ordás reservoir where you can practice fishing or ornithological tourism, Piedrasecha with the Calderones route, the regions of Laciana, Luna, Órbigo and Babia and a little further away El Faedo - a forest of centenary beech trees - or the famous Caves of Valporquero, the ski resort of Pajares or Leitariegos or even the wonderful beaches of Asturias only 50 minutes away by car on the freeway. Riello - only 5 km from La Omañuela - is the most important town in the region, together with La Magdalena at 15 km, with direct access to the AP-66 freeway that runs from Asturias to León where it joins the A-66 highway to Benavente and here with the A-6 highway - the axis of communication that links Madrid with La Coruña. To get to Casa Rural Aguas Frias and if you are driving on the AP-66 highway, take the exit La Magdalena - La Robla to continue on the LE-493 road towards Riello / Murias de Paredes. After 10 Km you will arrive at Pandorado and in this village you will take the detour to the left that marks La Omañuela. If you prefer not to come by freeway, from León take the CL-623 road towards Villablino and in La Magdalena take the LE-493 road towards Riello / Murias de Paredes. Once in La Omañuela the Casa Rural Aguas Frias is at the entrance of the village on the right hand side. If you want to do active tourism, we offer routes on foot, horseback, mountain bike or buggy in the area, climbing, rappelling and canyoning in the peaks of Piedrasecha, water sports in the nearby reservoir of Barrios de Luna, Espeleobarranquismo in the Caves of Valporquero, hunting and fishing in the rivers Omaña, Luna or Órbigo, nature trails guided and interpreted by qualified personnel, golf in the vicinity of León are some of the activities that we have arranged with specialized companies and with special rates for customers of the Casa Rural Aguas Frías.
