La Barraca Vilbor is a traditional house in the Ebro Delta. This Natural Park is one of the most unique areas of Catalonia, with a great variety of environments, marked by the river, the beaches or the lagoons. It is also the most important aquatic habitat of the territory. It has signposted itineraries and different activities can be carried out in the area LA BARRACA It offers all the comforts of a conventional house with the charm of tradition and proximity to nature. It has three double bedrooms, bathroom with shower and a large room that includes the kitchen, dining room and a living room with a nice wood stove. In the house you will find: - Sheets and towels. - All the necessary utensils for cooking and washing. - Refrigerator. - Microwave oven. - Washing machine. - Toaster. - Hair dryer. - Clothesline. - In the kitchen we leave salt, oil from Terres de l'Ebre, vinegar and coffee. And also dishwashing soap, garbage bags, paper towels, tablecloths and napkins. - It has wifi. - It has a wood stove (with all the necessary firewood). THE PLOT The house is surrounded by a large garden with native trees and plants, a furnished pergola, a barbecue and several charming corners. All this with views of the Delta Natural Park. SURROUNDINGS The Delta de l'Ebre is the most important aquatic habitat in Catalonia and presents a rich variety of environments: river, sea, bays, beaches, dunes, salt marshes, riparian forest, coastal lagoons, river islands and springs coexist with rice fields, fishing, agriculture, livestock, hunting and tourism. The confluence of the marine and continental environments favors a high diversity of fish species, about fifty. As for birds, more than 400 species have been cited and it has some of the most important breeding colonies of seabirds in the Mediterranean. The flora has 764 species. The natural park offers a multitude of itineraries for walking, cycling, canoeing or horseback riding, as it has many areas of interest, such as L'Encanyissada, La Tancada, Els Ullals de Baltasar, Punta de la Banya, Buda Island, Migjorn, Desembocadura, Punta del Fangar, Bassa de les Olles, the lagoon of Canal Vell and Garxal.
