Description
Kąck has no market, promenade, or viewpoint with a sign. It has a meadow, a pond, and a pine forest. I have placed two cabins here — intentionally facing opposite directions, intentionally with two separate entrances from different roads. One cannot see the other. The place is for adults only: silence is the main dish here, not an addition. You can spend three days with me and not peek into anyone's coffee cup. From Wilanów, it takes 25 minutes, which is shorter than crossing Warsaw to the other side on a Friday after five. You choose not only the date. You choose the landscape in which you will wake up. Bento One stands on a wild meadow by the pond. In the evening, there is a frog concert, in the morning, mist over the water, during the day, a sky that is unobstructed. On a clear night, you can see stars from here that are almost never visible over Warsaw. I hid Bento Two deep in the forest. Hammocks between the pines, shade in the heat, the scent of needles after rain, and squirrels that have claimed the terrace as their own. I do not argue with them. Guests most often write about one thing: about the animals. A deer by the fence in the morning, a fox crossing the road, occasionally an elk. Half an hour from the city. Inside, there is everything you need, and nothing you don’t. A king-size bed, where time stops counting. You light the wood-burning fireplace for pleasure — the temperature is controlled by air conditioning, cooling in summer, heating in winter. A kitchenette with an induction hob, and in season, I leave a basket of vegetables from the garden by the door. For those who can’t start the day without coffee: Chemex, Aeropress, moka pot, and a supply of good coffee. For those who need to work: fiber optic 200 Mbps. For those who don’t need to do anything: board games and books. There is no television. In the bathroom, eco-friendly cosmetics, a Swedish dry toilet works without water, and after the first use, no one thinks about it anymore. If you feel like moving Forest trails start at the doorstep, bikes are on site. In July, blueberries, in autumn, mushrooms, next to a stud farm, and a bit further, the Świder River with kayaking trips. In the evening, a bonfire that lasts an hour longer than you planned. And a car is not needed here; you can reach it by public transport from Warsaw, the stop is 300 meters from the cabins. I do not promise attractions. I promise that for a few days, no one will want anything from you.
