Description
BEZAT is a large, restored red brick Warminsky house. It is rented on an exclusive basis for groups with an instructor, several families, a circle of friends. It can accommodate 15 people. We have a 100m room for yoga and other forms of body work. In addition to rooms for guests, there is a living room, a dining room with a fireplace and a large equipped kitchen, and a large terrace with hammocks, loungers and large tables where we eat meals on warm days. For guests there are 6 rooms for 1, 2, 3 and 4 people and 5 bathrooms. Next to the house there is a sauna for 4 people. In July and August, and at other times by appointment, we offer catering. These meals are vegetarian, made with local products, and seasonally from our garden. Bezat is the residential building of a farm established in 1894. For many years it was a model farm, a place of education for farmers. After the war, it was taken over by a Polish family but over time, being remote from the village, it became deserted and dilapidated. Since 1980 we have been busy rebuilding the buildings and converting them into an agritourism site. The main summer attractions are the beautiful and often empty bathing areas at smaller and larger lakes such as Isag, Marag - in Goat Mountain, Gamerki, Skolites, Gubits, Szalstra, Ramot, Pelnik. et al. There are also great biking and hiking trails in the area with many surprises along the way, as we have no shortage of deer, cranes, hares, storks and badgers. Nearby, in Nowy Kawkow, there is a Lavender Museum with fields of lavender around the buildings. It is a place of aromatherapy. Here you can buy oils and bouquets of lavender and other trinkets as souvenirs or gifts. It's also worth a visit to the Gallery cafe also located in Nowy Kawkow. There is coffee, teas made from fresh herbs, lemonades and excellent tarts, a specialty of the place, an exhibition of paintings by local artists and local handicrafts - jewelry, textiles and clay bowls and mugs. The kind owner Ania will invite you inside the Gallery or suggest tables in the garden. During the summer season, you can hit up a ceramics workshop, concert, exhibition or other art event here. Letycja and her family live in the colony of the village of Nowe Kawkowo. It's a farm called Cegielnia art. Letycja does ceramics, conducts workshops, and her French husband prepares real crepes with a variety of fillings, serves coffee and lemonade. You can also often eat seasonal soup with vegetables from the garden at their place. Every year between July 20 and 27, the village of Wegajty hosts a theater festival " Theater Village". The festival includes daily performances of alternative theater from the country, but also Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Spain and others. For those who are willing, there is an opportunity to participate in theater workshops, provided they sign up in advance. One weekend in September, for 20 years local artists and environmentalists have organized an event called " Art in the Bypass". Musicians, painters, sculptors but also environmentalists invite people to their premises, where they prepare exhibitions, concerts, shows and lectures. Each year the event has a different name and message. Closer to our habitat, within walking distance, a venue for evening meetings has been established in an old barn - Seat 21. Always after 6 p.m. coffee, tea, something to eat, board games, and on weekends concerts, stand ups, vernissages and other attractions. And in Łukcie, at the U Suleja cafe, you'll eat the best artisanal ice cream in Warmia, cakes with fruit and drink gourmet coffee. Right next door you will find Lavender Restaurant, with a large selection of really tasty dishes. Also worth recommending is the Niva Restaurant in Wlodow. Located in an open field, among meadows and young orchards, the restaurant will treat you to exceptional cuisine. Vegetarian, meat and fish dishes are made exclusively from local, organic products. There is an idyllic, lazy atmosphere of a summer day. Specialties include ciders made from local wild apple trees produced at the Sour Apple farm. And when you return to Bezat, you can enjoy the silence, birdsong, sauna, hammocks and space for relaxation and all kinds of physical activity.
