Description
BEZAT is a large, restored Warmian house made of red brick. It is rented exclusively for groups with an instructor, several families, or a circle of friends. It can accommodate 15 people. We have a 100m yoga room and other forms of body work. In addition to guest rooms, there is a living room, a dining room with a fireplace, and a large equipped kitchen, as well as a 30m terrace with hammocks, sun loungers, and large tables where we eat meals on warm days. For guests, there are 6 rooms for 1, 2, 3, and 4 people and 4 bathrooms. Next to the house, there is a sauna for 4 people. By prior arrangement, we can offer meals. These are vegetarian dishes made with local products, as well as seasonal produce from our garden. Due to the nature of the place, we do not encourage groups that like to relax with alcohol and loud music. Bezat is a residential building of a farm established in 1894. For many years, it was a model farm, serving as an educational place for farmers. After the war, it was taken over by a Polish family, but over time, as it was remote from the village, it became abandoned and fell into disrepair. Since 1980, we have been rebuilding the buildings and transforming them into an agritourism place. The main summer attractions are beautiful and often empty bathing spots by smaller and larger lakes such as Isąg, Marąg - in Kozia Góra, Gamerki, Skolity, Gubity, Szałstry, Ramoty, Pelnik, and others. There are also wonderful cycling and hiking trails in the area with many surprises along the way, as we have plenty of deer, cranes, hares, storks, and badgers. Nearby, in Nowe Kawkowo, there is the Lavender Museum with lavender fields around the buildings. It is a place for aromatherapy. You can buy oils and lavender bouquets as well as other trinkets for souvenirs or gifts. It is also worth visiting the Galeria café located in Nowe Kawkowo. Here you can enjoy coffee, fresh herb teas, lemonades, and excellent tarts, which are the specialty of this place, along with an exhibition of paintings by local artists and local handicrafts - jewelry, fabrics, and clay bowls and mugs. The friendly owner Ania will invite you inside the Gallery or offer tables in the garden. In the summer season, you might find ceramic workshops, concerts, exhibitions, or other artistic events happening here. In the village of Nowe Kawkowo lives Leticia with her family. This farm, called Cegielnia art, is run by Leticia, who specializes in ceramics and conducts workshops, while her husband, a Frenchman, prepares authentic crepes with various fillings, serving coffee and lemonade. You can often enjoy seasonal vegetable soup from their garden. Every year, from July 20 to 27, the "Theatrical Village" festival takes place in Węgajty. During the festival, alternative theater performances from Poland as well as from the Czech Republic, Spain, and others are presented daily. For those interested, there is an opportunity to participate in theater workshops, provided they register in advance. For one weekend in September, for several years, local artists and ecologists have organized an event called "Art in the Backyard." Musicians, painters, sculptors, and ecologists invite you to their homes, where they prepare exhibitions, concerts, shows, and lectures. Each year, the event has a different name and message. Closer to our homestead, within walking distance, a place for evening gatherings has been established in an old barn - Headquarters 21. Always after 6:00 PM, there is coffee, tea, something to eat, board games, and on weekends, concerts, stand-ups, vernissages, and other attractions. In Łukta, at the Smolej café, you can enjoy the best artisanal ice cream in Warmia, fruit cakes, and delicious coffee. Right next door, you will find the Lawendowa Restaurant, which offers a wide selection of truly tasty dishes. The Niva restaurant in Włodowo is also worth recommending. Located in the open field, among meadows and young orchards, the restaurant will treat you to exceptional cuisine. Vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes are made exclusively from local, organic products. The atmosphere here is idyllic and lazy, reminiscent of a summer day. The specialty is ciders made from local wild apples produced at the Kwaśne Jabłko farm. And after returning to Bezata, you can enjoy the silence, the singing of birds, the sauna, hammocks, and space for relaxation and all kinds of physical activities.
