Description
Brzóze is a private lakeside house that stands on an old gravel platform, right by the lake's edge. Once an industrial site, the area has been reclaimed by nature and has become a natural habitat. Based on this context, the project concept is raw yet natural. The materials reflect this idea: stone, wood, and lime plasters. Sandstone and wood harmonize with the surroundings, their texture allowing for the observation of changing light throughout the day. The house opens up to the environment in a natural way. In summer, the interior merges with the exterior, while in winter it remains a refuge where one feels peace and quiet. The sauna, located in a separate pavilion, allows for a fuller experience of this place – the scent of warm wood with a view of the rippling water and forest provides a sense of coherence and soothes the senses. The house includes: 4 rooms on the upper floor with a view of the lake and private bathrooms 1 room on the ground floor with a window overlooking the garden and access to a shared bathroom on the ground floor A relaxation area with a Finnish sauna and shower A living room with a TV area and a gaming space A kitchen with a dining area open to the living room Kitchen: induction hob, oven and microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, wine/drink fridge, coffee machines, toaster, blender.
