Discover the Matagacha cabin, a wooden shelter nestled in the quiet village of Villaviciosa, Solosancho. This cozy accommodation offers a spacious living room with fireplace, equipped kitchen, dining room, a bedroom with glazed terrace and whirlpool tub, plus a charming porch. The rural apartments Matagacha are located in a beautiful wooded estate with pine trees, holly trees, rockroses, poplars and a spring with a pond, a place to enjoy nature to the fullest. We have four apartments: three of them are newly built, with a spacious living room where up to 4 people can stay and gather around the fireplace. The fourth apartment is an old wooden house restored by hand, which offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. It has a wonderful glazed porch facing south, overlooking the Sierra de la Paramera, and it can accommodate 2 people. On the farm there are four properties that share a swimming pool, outdoor gazebo, barbecue and jacuzzi, offering guests ideal spaces for relaxation and conviviality. The farm is located in Villaviciosa, a small town on the edge of the Sierra de la Paramera and only 20 minutes from the monumental city of Avila. From the village there are numerous hiking trails that allow you to contemplate the majesty of the Amblés Valley. Surrounded by the impressive Sierra de la Paramera, the area stands out for its unique granite formations, such as those near Pico Gavilán in Villaviciosa, and a rich biodiversity with centennial oaks, oaks and a varied avian fauna. For lovers of history and hiking, the Sendero de Las Veredas de Solosancho offers a circular route of 18.6 km that passes near two Vettones forts: Ulaca and Navasangil. The Vetton fort of Ulaca, from the 4th century B.C., has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest and is only 100 meters from the apartments. It is also possible to visit the Visigothic site of Navasangil, from the 7th century, about 500 meters away. The Matagacha cabin is the ideal place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature, either exploring the surrounding landscapes or relaxing in its comfortable facilities.
