Description
We are located in the wilderness, on the edge of the village. We have a riverside garden, where there is a sauna and a balia filled with pure, almost spring water from the river. All around are the mountains of the Low Beskid, absolute silence and nature at your fingertips. Mokoszka is part of our agritourism Jasielówka. Our cottage is designed for up to 6 people. On the first floor there is a living room with a kitchen and all its equipment, a fireplace, a table and a sofa bed. In addition, there is a bathroom with a shower. In the attic there is one non-convertible bedroom, in which there is one double bed and one single bed. The second bedroom has one double bed. You can make your own meals in your kitchen or take advantage of breakfast and dinner, which are served in the large building. We serve the delicacies themselves, pancakes, dumplings, pies and other regional dishes. What can you do on the grounds of our agritourism? - run barefoot on the grass, - sunbathe on the terrace of the cottage or on a blanket, - bathe in the crystal clear river and collect rocks, - drink hot cocoa by the fireplace, - read books, - play board games, - feast by the fire in the evenings, - stroke our cats or chase around the yard with our dogs, - eat delicious dumplings in our agritourism, - bask in a hot tub, - go mushroom picking in the forest that borders our backyard. Other attractions in the area: - Jaśliski Landscape Park is the gateway to the wild Carpathian Mountains, - our area is the most scenically varied and least populated part of the Low Beskid. The park is overgrown with impassable beech forests. On the slopes of the mountains you will find springs, streams, marshes and landslide lakes. Walking along the trails you can meet rare representatives of flora and fauna. Bears, wolves and lynx are our forest neighbors. Cultural melting pot: Thanks to its border location, the Beskid Niski was home to many cultures. Influences of Polish, Lemko and Jewish traditions mixed here. Remnants of this time are old Orthodox churches, synagogues and churches. These unusual places that remind us of the region's rich past are gaining more and more attention. A bicycle trail "At the Meeting Point of Cultures" was recently established. Microclimate: In the immediate vicinity are the famous pre-war spas: Rymanow Zdroj and Iwonicz Zdroj. There are mineral water pump rooms, swimming pools, restaurants, parks with cafes. A lot of architecture characteristic of the old resorts has been preserved. It's also worth taking advantage of the wide range of medical treatments on offer. Oil: The nearby Bóbrka is home to the world's oldest oil mine. It was founded by Ignacy Lukasiewicz in 1854 and is still active! It covers an area of about 20 hectares, and the collected exhibits document the development of the oil industry. Andy Warhol: Just over Stone Mountain, on the Slovak side of the border, the Andy Warhol Museum is located in Medzilaborce. It was established in 1991 and was the first to be dedicated solely to Warhol. The location is no accident - a few kilometers away lies the village of Mikova, where the artist's mother lived before emigrating to the US. You are welcome!
