Description
Bukowica Miła is not a property designed for rental or a staged set for photos. It is a home born out of a desire to live closer to nature—built with our own hands, patiently, without haste, and without compromising on authenticity. Every element bears the mark of labor, time, and the intention to create a genuine place, not a “perfect” one. Today, we’re sharing it with you as well, inviting you to an experience that goes beyond a mere stay. If you need a deep respite from the concrete-and-plastic grind of everyday life, from sensory overload and constant connectivity—Bukowica Miła might just be the place to pause. It is a unique, round-octagonal house made of wood and logs, with a central chimney, standing alone in a forest clearing, high on the slope of Tokarnia, in the heart of the Low Beskids, within a Natura 2000 reserve. It is surrounded by 3 hectares of private space: forest, meadows, and complete silence, undisturbed by neighbors, passersby, or chance visitors. Here, you are truly alone. On one side stretches wild nature—trees, animals, a sky so vast it’s hard to take it all in. On the other—a panorama of the San Valley, reaching a horizon dozens of kilometers away. It’s a space that not only allows you to rest but changes the rhythm of your breathing and thinking. The property also features a natural pond fed by spring water flowing down the mountainside—a living, ecological body of water that changes with the seasons, light, and weather. The house is over 100 m² and comfortably accommodates 7+ people. Despite its simplicity, it is fully functional, but it is not comfort in the traditional sense that is most important here—only the closeness to nature and the space that allows you to breathe deeply. Bukowica Miła lies far from civilization, yet is surprisingly easy to reach—about a 3-hour drive from Kraków and about 4 hours from Warsaw. This is a place created for people who are looking for more than just a vacation—for those who want to “disconnect,” immerse themselves in silence, reconnect with themselves, or find a space for creative work that requires peace and quiet, not haste. Bukowica Miła doesn’t offer attractions. It offers presence.
