Bukowica Miła is a home built out of a passion for nature and a peaceful way of life. It was built by hand, without rushing, with attention to every detail and respect for the surrounding landscape. It stands in a forest clearing high on the slope of Tokarnia, in the heart of the Low Beskids, where the silence is broken only by birdsong and the rustle of trees. The house is over 100 m² and comfortably accommodates up to 7 people. Its distinctive circular shape, with a central chimney, makes the interior warm, cosy and completely different from typical holiday rentals. Most of the interiors are finished with wood and natural materials, preserving the house’s original character. This is a place with a soul, which for years was a real home, not an investment created solely for rental. The greatest luxury here is space. In the morning, you can enjoy coffee overlooking the Beskid hills; during the day, stroll through your own forest; and in the evening, sit by the fire or watch the stars in one of the darkest skies in Poland. A new feature is the exceptional eco-friendly sauna, built around the trunk of an old fir tree and partly integrated into the natural contours of the land. Inspired by the Finnish sauna tradition, it offers both a dry sauna and a steam sauna. The interior is filled with the scents of wood, resin and dried Carpathian herbs, creating a unique atmosphere of closeness to nature. The sauna comfortably accommodates up to four people. Use of the sauna requires advance notice, as it is prepared especially for your stay. The fee is 200 PLN for a 2-hour session or 400 PLN for 24-hour access. If you are looking for a place where you can truly switch off from everyday life and relax close to nature, Bukowica Miła is an excellent choice. Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and over 3 hectares of private grounds, including forest and meadows. You are free to use all the rooms, stroll through your own forest, relax by the water and enjoy complete privacy. During your stay, the entire property is exclusively yours. The house is surrounded by wild nature, so we ask you to respect the surrounding ecosystem. On request, we can prepare a small basket of firewood for the fireplace for 60 PLN or a large basket of firewood for 260 PLN. There is private parking by the house for 2 or 3 small cars. After heavy rainfall, access to the parking area may be muddy. In such cases, we recommend leaving your car in the village of Wola Piotrowa. The property can only be reached via the villages of Bukowsko and Wola Piotrowa. Please do not choose alternative routes. The last kilometre of the road is in very poor condition. The road is passable, but if you are driving a vehicle that is not an off-road vehicle, we recommend driving very slowly and taking particular care. IMPORTANT INFORMATION – DROUGHT IN THE REGION Due to the exceptionally severe drought that has affected the Bukowica region in recent months, groundwater levels are currently very low. The natural spring that provided the property with a steady water supply for years and regularly replenished itself has completely dried up this summer. The same situation also affects many nearby villages. Under the current circumstances, there may be temporary water shortages at the property during your stay, and water may need to be brought in. We are doing everything we can to ensure you have the water you need, but under the current conditions we cannot guarantee an uninterrupted water supply. Please take this information into account when making your reservation.
