The Good House is a continuation of our passion for old houses, we restored it with our own hands and saved it from destruction. For years we have been running another historic house nearby "Lumbie Manor" where we invite you for unearthly good meals. The Good House, however, is a unique facility. Cozy, built of wood, ecological and simple in form. We also did not interfere too much with the landscape around the house. No tree on the plot was affected, and there are quite a few. Even the domestic treatment plant is built around a young oak tree that grows there. We built the terrace in front of the house within the limits of the old stone foundations of a house that has not existed since the war. The house accommodates six people. The first floor of the house is a cozy living room where, in summer, trees rustle outside the windows, from autumn a fire burns in the fireplace and you can lounge on the sofa bed. The kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, induction burner, kettle and coffee maker, will ensure easy preparation of meals. A bedroom with a double bed respite after a busy day. There is also a bathroom downstairs. The attic, on the other hand, is a paradise for children and young people (due to the steep so-called "mill staircase"). In the attic we have for you another two, this time single beds. Being in our cottage, you can directly commune with nature. Through the window of the house sometimes a moose or deer will peek through, sometimes a cow. We turned a large part of the lawn into a meadow, which is used by insects and animals that pass there to the river. We opted for simple, ecological recreation. The nearest surroundings of the Good House are Lake Białe (500m) and the Marycha River flowing right next to the plot, as well as forests and fields stretching in all directions. It is 7 km to Sejny, the nearest town. On the other hand, it is 17 km to Suwalki. To the border with Lithuania 16 km. The house lies on the border of Sejny and Suwalszczyzna, making it an excellent base for exploring the two geographic lands, which are very different in landscape and culture. Not far away, in the neighborhood even, lies the border with Lithuania, still undiscovered by tourists (you only need an ID card). We have virtually everything here, as lakes, rivers, forests, fields, and even mountains with a ski lift! Suwalki (17km) hosts a world-class Blues Festival every year. There is a thriving Jazz cooperative in Sejny. The Sejny Cultural Center is thriving and invites tourists on vacations. There is also no shortage of monuments and museums. As for regional cuisine, it is very diverse. For homemade breakfasts and dinners we invite you to Dwór Lumbie, located less than 5km from the Good House.
