Description
Also, we like to travel, so we sometimes provide access to our more than 200-year-old country half-timbered house. We put the entire house at your disposal: three cozy rooms with double beds, a large living room with fireplace, two bathrooms, kitchen, garden, terrace and parking. Our house is modestly but atmospherically furnished, with the character of the hosts - it is a space created for relaxation, far from anonymous hotel interiors. There is everything you need to enjoy the moment and spend time comfortably. Wrapped in greenery, away from the rest of the world, in complete privacy you can relax on the terrace or in the garden. It's the perfect place to listen to birdsong, dance under the stars, or spend an evening by the fire - barbecue equipment is also waiting for you. Our village, Grabiszyce (formerly Gerlachsheim), is a place with a soul, dating back to its roots in the 13th century. For centuries it was inhabited by various nations, and before the wars it was famous for weaving. Houses hid looms, and there were mills and inns in the village. History has left its mark here, and many wooden houses have survived the turbulent history of Upper Lusatia, hiding many secrets. Grabisice is surrounded by wild nature and the meandering Czech border, along which stretch picturesque meadows, forests and hills, with views of the Jizera, Giant Mountains, Jizerskohorské Bučiny and even the Polabskie Mountains. You are definitely more likely to encounter roe deer, deer or foxes here than people. This is a land where ravens, cranes and badgers feel at home. Our village is also an ideal starting point for exploring the mysterious Jizerské Mountains, the spectacular Jizerskohorské Bučiny (World Natural Heritage Site - UNESCO) or biking trails, such as the famous Singltrek pod Smrkem. Lakes with beautiful beaches, cross-country skiing, skydiving and snowboarding trails (gondola and ski runs on Stog Izerski) await you in the area. For those interested, we provide records of our favorite less traveled trails, secret paths and suggestions for unique activities. In the vicinity of our house you can purchase honey, eggs, milk and vegetables straight from local farmers, allowing you to enjoy the taste of the region's organic products. Feel free to contact us! We will be happy to answer any questions and invite you to our beautiful end of the world.
