Description
La Veleta is a beautiful Eco Glamping located just 3 km from the surfing beaches of Caños de Meca and El Palmar on the Costa de la Luz. La Veleta is located next to the Natural Park of La Breña and below the town of Vejer de la Frontera. La Veleta is a wild place, in the middle of nature, so you will be able to hear farm animals, dogs and maybe the peacock of the neighbors if you are lucky. Our 4 yurts blend in with the nature of the terrain, so you might see a gecko catching flies at night or the cat popping its head up to say hello. Stay in a cozy Mongolian yurt surrounded by the sounds of birds, animals and the breeze through the trees. Close to the surf and La Breña Natural Park, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy and happy. The rest of the time, relax among wild olive trees and flowers and watch the world go by. We are 3 km from the beach, but feel light years away from the bustling bars and beach vibes of El Palmar and Los Caños de Meca. La Veleta is your safe haven in summer: if you want bars, music and beach, you are just a few minutes away. But if you are looking for tranquility and relaxation, just stay here. We have the village of San Ambrosio a few minutes away, with a couple of local restaurants/bars, so if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, that's the place to go. Basically, you can choose the best of both worlds between beach life and the wild countryside, all at your fingertips. The house, yurts and grounds are solar-powered, so high-voltage appliances such as hair dryers, curling irons and fans are prohibited. La Veleta is an Eco Glamping in nature, so don't be surprised if you see any spiders or geckos scurrying around, after all, it's not a hotel in the city. There is no parking on the grounds themselves, so you must walk down some stairs and across a small bridge to get in, but we will provide hand carts to help you carry your purchases!
