Description
El Acebo de Casa Muria is a beautiful 18th century house in the picturesque village of Renanué, at an altitude of 1230m and close to the Pyrenean Axis (N260) from where you will enjoy 360º of incomparable views. As in a wonderful viewpoint, to the north the immensity of the Benasque Valley and fascinating mountains such as El Posets and El Gallinero and to the south you will enjoy a sensational view of a wonderful high mountain forest. This exclusive rural hotel was rehabilitated in an artisan way preserving all its spirit and personality. Each stone was numbered, the Arabic tiles and the three typical chimneys of the Aragonese Pyrenees were rebuilt, all of them with "witches' scarecrows" that according to tradition prevented the entrance of evil spirits. The wood and the doors of the rooms are hand-carved with decorative motifs linked to the sun. And how not to mention the unusual 8m high holly tree that has been guarding the north façade for more than 100 years, which we take care of with great affection. The garden located in three old cultivation terraces had the invaluable help of the sculptor Vicente García Plana, creating a new concept in the Oscense Pyrenees (land art), composed of sculptural groups with suggestive names such as "Los Yunques de las Nubes de Renanué" and "Los Espanta Brujas Móviles de Renanué". If you are looking for a charming boutique hotel in the Benasque valley of the Pyrenees, we invite you to visit our hotel, a place of incomparable beauty surrounded by mountains, lush forests and centuries of history.
