The "Finca Contrabando" is born in a land full of pigsties, in Sanlúcar de Guadiana, in the border area with Portugal called Andévalo, historically well-known for the smuggling of raw materials between the two countries carried out by its neighbors and just thirty minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. The current project arose from the rehabilitation of some old birthing pens and agricultural housing located in an exceptional setting by the Guadiana River, with direct views of the Portuguese town of Alcoutim and its fortress. Little by little, the work progressed and took shape, and today we present it to you so you can get to know it better. The main building consists of 5 tourist apartments, each with a capacity for 4 people: 4 single beds, 1 bathroom, kitchen. They are fully equipped with everything necessary including kitchenware, small appliances, bed linen, extra thick towels, wifi, air conditioning, pellet stoves, XL shower, smart TV, and splendid porches with shade and furniture perfect for having breakfast with direct views of Portugal and the river. We offer the possibility of booking the entire estate, including the large common living room for any event or celebration, accommodating up to 20 guests without the need to travel and allowing them to enjoy late into the night without worrying about disturbing any neighbors. We also have a private dock from which you can cross to Portugal with our aqua taxi service, explore the Portuguese and Spanish banks of the river discovering the wonderful towns and places, or reach the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Ayamonte. From our saltwater pool and sunbed and chill-out area, you can enjoy the wonderful views of the picturesque Portuguese town of Alcoutim and its magnificent historical fortress.
