Description

The residence was founded by artists for artists as a peaceful but stimulating creative space. Situated in a unique, remote and secluded corner of the Jizera forests, it is at the same time a proposition for anyone looking for a rest or a base in the mountains. As artists, we create an atmosphere in which thoughts are not disturbed by civilization's mundane and consumerism ceases to matter. We prove that it is possible to live in the middle of the forest, away from human settlements, without constant contact with civilization. We have opted for minimalism and simplicity. Electricity from solar power, water from a well, heating with wood that we prepare in advance ourselves, teach us to respect the obvious and the orchard, garden and bread oven increase our sense of independence. We are inspired and, as our guests say, we inspire ourselves to change our lifestyle and thinking, to revise our beliefs and needs. For guests, we offer two three-bed cottages with the possibility of an extra sleeping place. Each has an equipped kitchenette, bathroom with toilet and shower, fresh linen, towels and blankets. The atmospheric, year-round cottage "Maga" heated with a fireplace has a spacious bedroom with a double bed on the mezzanine. In the living room, the rest area can be easily converted into a sleeping area in case of a stay of 3 people. The cozy cottage "Jowa" also heated with a fireplace is an open space with a double bed, kitchenette, sofa and table Both cottages have their own barbecue area and picnic table outside. A refrigerator in the well, a place for a large campfire in the woods, a tent or tarp are available. Reservations are possible for special events at our settlement. Halala can be the stop of a trip to the Jizera Mountains, hidden in them castles, mines, adits, hiking trails and Single Track-i. Within the range of one-day trips we have Jizera Hala, Dark Sky Park, Quartz Mines "Stanislaw" Czocha Castle, Chojnik, Szklarska Poreba, Sky&Sun (the longest illuminated ski trail in pl), Sky Walk in Swieradow, Frydlant Castle in Czech Republic and many other places that are an inspiration for those who spend time actively. For those who are curious, we will be happy to discover the secrets of off-grid life, bake sourdough bread together, suggest ideas for off-trail mountain excursions, teach how to ski. For those who are interested, we will organize workshops in photography, the photographic analog darkroom, painting or drawing. For those who simply want to relax in the forest, we offer a good atmosphere full of empathy and respect for privacy. For all, we propose to use our sauna as a complement to the absolute detox resulting from a stay in nature. So we invite people for whom nature is a source of cognition, and being near it is an expression of awareness of existence. Greetings, see you there Lena and Tomasz

A wonderfully peaceful, natural place in the forest to escape the stress of everyday life for a few days. Of course, you shouldn't expect a 5-star hotel in the middle of the forest! The huts are simply designed, cozy and lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need! You might have to get your hands dirty chopping wood, but that's exactly what gives this place its charm. The outdoor area is particularly inviting for a relaxed get-together. Fire pits allow you to prepare food and relax by the warm campfire in the evening. If you're lucky, you might even hear wolves howling at night, which we did several times. The VERY nice hosts deserve special mention! They are obliging and try everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible! They also give very good tips for excursions and activities of all kinds. Supermarkets and stores are just a few minutes away by car. Our next stay has already been booked!

tSpedzilem unforgettable weekend in a cozy and charming cottage in the middle of the forest. This place is a real oasis of peace, ideal for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the assets of the cottage was the fireplace, in which you could smoke yourself, and which created a unique atmosphere. A great attraction turned out to be a self-built sauna at Tom's exclusive disposal. Another great plus of the area is the great biking trails - I can confidently say that this is a mecca for cyclists and everyone, regardless of the level will find something for themselves. The hosts are extremely kind and hospitable. The whole environment of the dock, with the forest around, makes a person can fully disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and forget about all the problems for a while. This is a place to which I will certainly want to return someday to enjoy its charm and tranquility. I highly recommend!
