Description

Probably the most remote settlement from the "inhabited land" in the Izers. Located in a unique and secluded corner of the Izera forests, it offers a proposal for anyone looking for silence, peace, relaxation, or a base for mountain excursions. I prove that it is possible to live in the middle of the forest, without neighbors, without constant contact with civilization. There is a climate here where thoughts are not disturbed by the prose of civilization and consumerism ceases to matter. I offer minimalism and simplicity. Electricity from solar energy, water from a well, heating with wood that can be chopped by oneself, teach respect for obvious things, while an orchard, garden, and bread oven increase the sense of independence. I am inspired, and as guests say, I inspire them to change their lifestyle and thinking, to verify beliefs and needs, to seek within themselves what is truly important in life. Point NEMO can be a stop on a trip to the Izera Mountains, hidden castles, mines, galleries, hiking and biking trails, and Single Tracks. Within a day trip's reach are Hala Izerska, the Dark Sky Park, the "Stanisław" Quartz Mine, Czocha Castle, Chojnik, Szklarska Poręba, Sky Walk, Frydlant Castle in the Czech Republic, and many other places that inspire those who spend their time actively. For guests, I offer two three-person cabins with the possibility of adding a sleeping place. Each is equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, fresh bedding, towels, and blankets. There is also the possibility of using a SAUNA. The atmospheric, year-round cabin "MAGA" heated by a fireplace has a spacious bedroom with a double bed on a mezzanine. In the living room, the relaxation area can easily be converted into a sleeping place in case of a stay for 4 people. The cozy cabin "JOWA" also heated by a fireplace is an open space with a double bed, kitchenette, sofa, table, and the possibility of adding a 4th sleeping place. Both cabins have their own grilling area and a picnic table outside. A refrigerator in the well, a place for a large bonfire in the woods, a tent, or a tarp are available. Reservations can be made for organizing events on the premises of the settlement. Additional offer: It is possible to organize an individual kayaking trip down the Bóbr Valley or a sunset cruise on a pontoon boat under Czocha Castle. As a former special forces soldier, I will gladly reveal the secrets of Bushcraft, Survival, or simply off-grid living; together we will bake sourdough bread, I will suggest ideas for mountain hikes off the beaten path, or propose an off-road trip in a 4x4 vehicle. For those interested, as a certified artist photographer, I will organize photography workshops, from an analog darkroom, I will conduct an outdoor or studio photo session. As a certified instructor, I will teach skiing. As a certified addiction therapist, I will help those interested find motivation for change. For those who simply want to relax in the forest, I offer a good atmosphere full of empathy and respect for privacy. I invite people for whom nature is a source of knowledge, and being close to it is an expression of awareness of existence. Please familiarize yourself with the Rules of stay before making a reservation; by booking, you confirm acceptance. Best regards, see you soon.

We rate our stay as excellent. If it weren't for a minor cold that thwarted our plans for sightseeing and hiking in the Jizera Mountains recommended by our hosts, it would have been perfect. The place itself is a real haven for those seeking – literally and figuratively – peace and quiet. The silence, tranquility, the crackling of wood burning in the fireplace, and the opportunity to take a deep breath away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life create an atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. The location is excellent as a base for both skiing enthusiasts and those who love hiking. The hosts are wonderful people – passionate, extremely helpful, and cordial. They are among those who are said to have made it: they do what they love, are able to share their passion, and live in accordance with their own values. It is wonderful to visit a place where time slows down and nature reminds you what life in harmony with its rhythm should look like. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with Tomek and Lena. And we say: see you soon!

A wonderfully peaceful, natural place in the forest to escape the stress of everyday life for a few days. Of course, you shouldn't expect a 5-star hotel in the middle of the forest! The huts are simply designed, cozy and lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need! You might have to get your hands dirty chopping wood, but that's exactly what gives this place its charm. The outdoor area is particularly inviting for a relaxed get-together. Fire pits allow you to prepare food and relax by the warm campfire in the evening. If you're lucky, you might even hear wolves howling at night, which we did several times. The VERY nice hosts deserve special mention! They are obliging and try everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible! They also give very good tips for excursions and activities of all kinds. Supermarkets and stores are just a few minutes away by car. Our next stay has already been booked!
