Description
The residence was established by artists for artists as a peaceful yet stimulating creative space. Its location in a unique, remote, and secluded corner of the Izera forests offers a proposal for anyone looking for relaxation or a base for mountain excursions. As artists, we create an atmosphere where thoughts are not disturbed by the prose of civilization, and consumerism ceases to matter. We prove that it is possible to live in the middle of the forest, away from human settlements, without constant contact with civilization. We have opted for minimalism and simplicity. Solar energy provides electricity, water comes from a well, and heating is done with wood that we prepare ourselves, teaching us respect for the obvious things, while the orchard, garden, and bread oven enhance our sense of independence. We are inspired, and as our guests say, we inspire a change in lifestyle and thinking, a re-evaluation of beliefs and needs. For guests, we offer two three-person cabins with the possibility of adding extra sleeping space. Each is equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, fresh bedding, towels, and blankets. The atmospheric, year-round cabin "Maga" heated by a fireplace features a spacious bedroom with a double bed on a mezzanine. In the living room, the relaxation area can easily be converted into a sleeping space in case of a stay for 3 people. The cozy cabin "Jowa," also heated by a fireplace, is an open space with a double bed, kitchenette, sofa, and table. Both cabins have their own grilling area and picnic table outside. A refrigerator is available in the well, along with a place for a large bonfire in the forest, a tent, or a tarp. Reservations can be made for organizing events on the premises of our settlement. Halala can be a stop on a trip to the Izera Mountains, with hidden castles, mines, tunnels, hiking trails, and Single Tracks. Within a day trip's reach, we have Hala Izerska, the Dark Sky Park, the "Stanisław" Quartz Mine, Czocha Castle, Chojnik, Szklarska Poręba, Sky&Sun (the longest illuminated ski route in Poland), Sky Walk in Świeradów, Frydlant Castle in the Czech Republic, and many other places that inspire those who spend time actively. For the curious, we are happy to uncover the secrets of off-grid living, bake sourdough bread together, suggest ideas for mountain hikes off the beaten path, and teach skiing. For those interested, we will organize workshops in photography, analog darkroom photography, painting, or drawing. For those who simply want to relax in the forest, we offer a good atmosphere full of empathy and respect for privacy. We invite people for whom nature is a source of knowledge, and being close to it is an expression of awareness of existence. Please familiarize yourself with the Rules of Stay before making a reservation. Best regards, see you soon Lena and Tomasz
