We live in Suwałki region, in the beautifully located village of Krasne, on the edge of the Augustów Forest, surrounded by fields and forests next to the Kiersne forest lake. Nearby, there are natural attractions of the region, lakes with swimming areas, the Czarna Hańcza and Marycha rivers, Wigry National Park, the Augustów Canal, and plenty of cycling and walking trails. In the spirit of sharing the beauty of the area, we offer a guest house available all year round, respecting the surroundings and tranquility. Dogs are welcome. We do not accept cats in the house. The year-round guest house is wooden, with a ground floor area of 33 m² and a mezzanine of 12 m², featuring a terrace of 40 m² facing east and south on a fenced plot of 4,500 m². The house is heated and air-conditioned. The living room has a sofa bed for 2 people and a kitchenette with equipment. The bedroom has a large double bed. On the mezzanine, there are 2 single beds and a desk for work. Within a few kilometers (Giby, Sejny, Skustele), there are year-round bars/restaurants serving local dishes. Cycling routes, beautiful landscapes, everything is at your fingertips! In the vicinity of the house, there are arable fields where seasonal agricultural work is carried out. This year we built a ceramics workshop ourselves, which we are happy to share with our guests. We offer time spent with clay, demonstrating various techniques of working with clay in the form of workshops for beginners and more advanced. The workshop is equipped with workstations, a potter's wheel, glazes, and a kiln for firing works. Monika will gladly conduct classes for you at a convenient time, after arranging the details on-site.

The place is absolutely magical in every way. The hosts are wonderful, warm people who have created a place with a soul, leaving also a large piece of their own heart - the house erected by the power of their own hands and according to their own idea, inside we were greeted by grown tomatoes and cheesecake prepared especially for our arrival, which sweetened our almost 8-hour journey from Krasne from another province. The interior was done with an idea, regionally, including the fact that you could admire handicraft wonders made by the hostess's own hands. Surrounded by nature itself, we hit a wonderful time of shooting stars, departing cranes and roaring deer, which combined to create the most wonderful live concert we could have dreamed of. An ideal base for trips to Sejny, Wigry River and many other interesting and delicious places, which the hosts will also point out. You can rent super bikes, including an electric one. On top of that you can come with your dog, which was baaariously enjoyed by our baby dog, using the fenced garden ❤️ We wholeheartedly recommend and are sure we will meet again!

We were looking for a place in silence, with air conditioning, not far from a lake or river and acceptance of a dog. The place we ended up at exceeded our wildest expectations. Not only were the conditions met, but we received much more. We ended up in a place where the hosts are very kind, helpful and attentive, so that their guests do not feel that their privacy has been violated. Sometimes you could find by the fence or get something good prepared by the Hostess. You can see the amount of work and effort put into this magical place. Suwalszczyzna offers us many tourist attractions, but Krasne is also such a wonderful place from which you do not have to leave and you can boldly forget about long tourist escapades. If only we want to. If someone asked me if it was worth driving 300 km to sit on the terrace, drink coffee and read a book. The answer would be a simple DEFINITELY YES! What did we do? We went for long walks. We went to the surrounding lakes to bathe in the clear water, we read books, and at night you could gaze into the darkness, which is sorely lacking in the city and listen to the sounds of nature far from the hustle and bustle of infrastructure, we played badminton and this is not even 1/4 of the possibilities of spending holiday time. If someone would like to necessary work from this place also there is such a possibility in the cottage there is good quality internet and a place where you can spread out your computer. On a scale of 1-10 definitely 11 ;) Such hosts and place is a treasure.

We first came to the Suwałki region in 1655 and were lost in the charm of the place. We returned every summer until 2020, when we didn't have to go back anymore, because we stayed here permanently. We live in an old house that is almost a century old, next to which we built a new Scandinavian barn-style house with our own hands with the help of our children. Arthur, the master planner, engineer and carpenter of the cottage, is passionately devoted to his true hobby: working with wood. He is currently dreaming of erecting a year-round ceramic studio for Monica. Monica, the superintendent and construction manager of the cottage, after years as a biology teacher, devotes herself to handicrafts and gardening, the results of which can be seen in the form of ceramic decorations, as well as excellent tomatoes from her own greenhouse. In our free time, we listen to the roars of deer, look out for cranes and spend time doing what we like best, swimming, biking and walking our dogs. Together with us, four of the happiest little lives are led by two dogs, Baika and Nika, and two cats, Kika and Gonzo.
