When I found this house in 2020 and saw it for the first time I knew that we had to do everything to make it ours. This is what happened after a long and arduous struggle we succeeded. We became the happy owners of our dream cottage in the mountains. Lachowka - because that's what we called our house (from the name of the village and the river that flows through it) is a larch cottage from 1974, built in the tradition of good old carpentry. Located at an altitude of 533 meters above sea level, by the trail leading to the student hostel "Adamy", on the slopes of Solnisko (849 meters above sea level), the house is situated in unusual surroundings, far from the village and buildings. The only neighbors there are wild animals. If you want to escape from the city, hide from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take a break from people-this is the perfect place for you. It's also an excellent base for many scenic hikes-you can hike from there, for example, to the highest nearby peak-Jalowiec (1111 meters above sea level). You won't be able to get to Lachowka by a city car, only a 4x4 car can cope with the Beskydy mud. However, you have the opportunity to park your car in the village - at the entrance to the trail, 800 m from the house or at the TSO - at a distance of 1.5 km. If you will need help in bringing heavy luggage, we will support you with our and our car, which can cope perfectly with the difficult access conditions. In the house are waiting: - A living room with a corner sofa and a fireplace that heats the entire house, - A fully equipped kitchen with a tiled stove, which creates an amazing atmosphere and warmth on colder days, - Bathroom with shower and underfloor heating - On the first floor, two bedrooms with double beds and unfolded sofas The third bedroom is under renovation (an additional bathroom will be created there), so we do not officially provide it, but if necessary you can use the two single beds located there The dacha still has many imperfections due to its age and long use, while we are constantly working to raise the standard and comfort of the apartment. It is undisputedly a house with a soul, and the atmosphere in and around it makes everyone leave there relaxed and charged with positive energy. Time spent among larch logs surrounded by wild nature is impossible to forget, and whoever has once been in Lachowka- wants to return there. Unfortunately, due to allergies, we can not accept cats under our roof. Let all other quadrupeds feel at home, at no extra charge.
