Description
Pod Jabłonia Vineyard is a family winery founded in 2017 out of a passion for nature, beauty and aromatic wines. The creators of the vineyard are Agnieszka and Adam Białachowski, a couple of wine enthusiasts and dreamers who, in the course of their travels through vineyards from different corners of the world, wanted to follow their dreams and create an equally atmospheric place on their native land. The name itself also hides the history of the place, for it was the apple orchards that partially transformed into viticulture, thus combining several generations' love of the plant with the beginning of a journey through the land of aromatic wines. The fruit of this combination is a vineyard currently covering an area of 4 hectares, where varietals such as Solaris, Riesling, Muscaris, Regent, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and Cabernet Cortis are grown. The wines produced from them are refreshing, aromatic, yet delicate dry white, rosé and red wines, appreciated with medals at Polish and international competitions. The winery is located just 30 kilometers from Bydgoszcz, in a picturesque area on the shores of Lake Wierzchucińskie. The surroundings of forests, meadows and apple orchards create an extraordinary atmosphere, which the vineyard owners share with their guests during organized events. Thanks to the cyclical open days, anyone who wishes to visit the vineyard will have the opportunity not only to enjoy its charms, but also to learn about the wine production process and discover its taste nuances. For those who would like to spend time with their loved ones, there is the possibility of organizing individual meetings in the form of tastings by the boards of snacks, which, in combination with wine, provide additional taste sensations. Also very popular are the open wine harvests organized here every year, this is a great opportunity to visit the vineyards and learn about the process from the very harvest of grapes to the setting of the wine, so that afterwards you can relax during a picnic together. The finished wine can not only be purchased in sommelier stores, but can also be tasted with selected dishes in several restaurants in Bydgoszcz, including Garlic and Oliwa, Veranda, Scoria, Szukaja Kitchen.
